  • great! I've been watching lots of CAD and REVIT turtorials over the past few months as I am working on a large architectural project and so far, your tutorials are the best I have seen, please keep it up and thank you for posting. :)

  • You are AWESOME....oh my...I wish you lived in Montreal, Qc cause then I would hire you to teach me. This is truely the best CAD tutorial I've ever listened to, please post more. :)

  • @swaracaroline Thank you! :-) You have reminded me that I planned on doing a second XREF video. It is coming shortly!

  • A "sheet" file is just a regular file... I only call it a sheet file to identify its position relative to the external references, as the host. Every CAD file is made from a template, you just may not be aware of which one you're using. The ACAD.dwt is the standard template if you're using regular AutoCAD. I would suggest you watch the template video (fundamentals playlist) to clarify how templates work.

  • hi jeremy ,, i just want to know how can i open a new sheet to use it as xref sheet,, because every time i try to open a new sheet it takes me to template and i dont know what that is.

  • That was quite informative. Many thanks Jeremy.
