  • You murdered it.

  • there are several ways to serve a beer 'german style' ;)

this is one way, mostly known in the northern part of germany...

in the south, we just pour it in normally, which takes little longer time but also results in less foam and..no dirt in the beer :)

  • like a boss!

  • wroong

  • That is a good way, too. But the technique I demonstrate is to get all of the Hefe in the glassen. One bottle, one glassen of beer.:) Prost!

  • This is wrong...hahaha lol this is not the german style never ever...

I'm from germany and this demonstration is not right-the bottle is to dirty to put it in that good beer.

you stupid people hahahahahaha-dear americans you can rape your light beer this way but please not the german weissbier! stay cool bye

  • @SunTzuRT I have more likes than dislikes on this video. Why don't you post a video doing it the correct way?

  • @ESmithStringSlinger I don't have a cam...sorry i'm no hater but this is just wrong, and the fact that you got more likes then dislikes is only the proof of the ignorance of the people.

Just search on youtube for the video with the name: Weizen richtig einschenken

thx and have a nice day

  • @SunTzuRT Watched the video, looks easier to do.Just make a head near end of pour, roll and pour Hefe on top of head.

  • @ESmithStringSlinger You are wrong, tip the glass and pour, dont put the bottle in the beer. thats just stupid.

  • I'm sorry, but this is so wrong.

    1. Take a Paulaner

    2. Bottle needs to be turned over about 20-30°

    3. After filling in 3/4 of the bottle, lay it on the table an roll it over and over, before filling up the rest in the glas.

It's the better way to go, because you can fill up 2 glasses at the same time and there won't be that much "Hefe" in the glassen ;-)

    Prost!

Americani...

  • Äh...nein! 1 Minute ist viel zu lang!

  • @kaeseberg Ein Prosit,Kaeseberg!

  • @ESmithStringSlinger Das macht er richtig! Prost!

  • Less sanitary,I realize.Just pre-mix the yeast in bottle first,but no glamarama:0

  • The result is fine and this method also really exist in germany.. But i find it rather unhygienic that the bottle-neck contacts the beer.

You better pour the beer in very slowly and "angular".. That's how most of us Germans do it.

  • we germans would never serve our beer that way

  • VIAGRA

  • That's not German, just the shaking in the end is German, the rest wouldn't make sense because you could get some taste from the bottle which you don't want!

  • Wtf we don't rub the beer in Germany :D

  • drank my share of these while stationed in germany

  • @TheMango121 The agitation is for getting the yeast off the bottom. If you don't drink Weisen beer, then no need to watch the video.

  • i dont understand why the americans show how to open a weizenbeer on german style ...

  • @elgoain9 It's just a way to pay tribute :)

  • Wow, that was cool, I haven't seen that way of pouring. Thx for the vid.

  • @Schlachtungen Thanks for the comment.

  • I hope all the people who touched the top of that bottle weren't sick. lol

  • Love the weizen pour. Clean up the junk in the background before making a video dude. It degraded a good Weizen. Sorry. After a million pics of beer porn and youtube-- what's a few seonds to clean up before a shoot?

  • Jawohl Herr Obermiester !!!

    Franziskaner ist wunderbar !!!

  • @DanOblacksmith Thanks much for the comment,Dan!

  • before you open the bottle you must turn it upside down and tap the bottom of the bottle with a lighter to get all the hefe to mix throughout the beer. Then let it stand for a few moments, then pour....overall well done...IN austria we do it better.

  • @rutgers16 Thanks for the tip.I'll try that the next time I get some weizens.

  • BTW: have you an idea about how long you must make the bottle rest before pouring? I was actually looking for this information when I found your little film.

  • @mavallarino I don't think it matters very much with how long the bottle sits, unless you want all of the yeast on top. Then overnight.Give that a try.

    Prost!

    E

  • excellente. putting the yeast on the top "unlocks" the yeast's aromas.

    Prost

  • Wanna have a Weizen too = /

Just got some Alt / Pils @ home =((

But the way you do it hits perfectly all prejudices. This is actually not "german" in general but the bavarian style ^^

And you have to remember one thing: Bavaria is not germany.

Its like... the Texas of germany you know... people wearing strange things like Lederhosen and Dirndels or Cowboy hats and breeches :)

  • What is the whole point of that

  • @666confederate Just another way to serve a weizen beer, and create the right head for it.Also putting the yeast on the top.

  • This style is neither old traditional nor particularly german.

  • that is not a good way but still pour ok never pour this way cause it is unsanitary to touch the lip of bottle to the glass

  • You did that excellent.

  • Ich meine serviert.

  • So wird doch nicht in Deutschland ein Bier seviert.

  • @HeadacheLady

doch normalerweise wird Hefeweizen so eingegessen

  • @MrSpacefly

    ich meine eingegossen

  • lol, just tried this, and my whole floor is biery now^^this just wokrs with franziskaner

  • It will work with all weizen beers. The key is keeping the bottle out of the beer.

  • no dude, i had a kuchlbaur weisse, and tried really carefully, and the bottle was out of the beer...this beer has a lot of co2, thats why it didnt worked in my opinion

  • It's not like the bottles are dirty or anything...

  • You did this holy action right.

    greetings from germany

  • @merowinger10 - lol "holy action". awesome.

  • Good work!

    You handled it right!

  • Very good!

    Greetings from Germany!

  • Are you serious? Who taught you such a BS?

  • @arschgeigenblogspot Shut up retard, he did it perfectly.
