I don't know what happened to the audio on this video to tell you the truth. I saw my video on mpcbeatmaker which has the audio version of this video. I hope that helps
How do I run a MIDI so that I'm using my MPC 2000 for drums ONLY? I want to continue to use my Fantom for my strings. Basically I want to lay my drums in the MPC then play my strings on my Fantom.
U gotta go out from your mpc whether it be A or B and into your fantom rack mount. If its a keyboard go out from the mpc into your fantom and out from your fantom into your mpc. You can pick from 16 diff instruments either a or b so that whatever sounds you pick will play off the mpc's sequencer. Midi will trigger the fantom and "drum" will trigger whatever sounds are loaded into your mpc. I hope that helps
A what up FaT TrAK yo i been making beats for a lil while but i only use a keyboard (fantom)
and i seen alot of ya tracks i was wondering sence u use th 2000xl and boon dock uses the mpc1000 what one do u like better cause im thinking of buying an mpc
what's good akatag. The way I did the XL with the keyboard and the 2500 with the keyboard is: go out from your midi controller or keyboard via midi out into your mpc. Whatever sounds are on the pads will be on the keys. Then just go out from your mpc midi into your sound modules. I hope that helps
hey god i just copped an mpc 2000 i have songs and sequenes saved up i just wanna know how to get them on cd and what not like what programs or cords i need to get the music out the box lol?
you will need some balanced 1/4 inch cords that will connect to a midi/audio interface that will take the sounds from the mpc and track them into the computer that runs a program like logic, pro tools, cubase, or sonar. And then you can burn it on a cd from the computer
yo i saved up 2000 dollars and wanna cop a mpc. i fooled around wit the 500 b4. and already got turntables and key board. but yo which mpc shuld i get to start off.?
I would a say a mpc 1000. Because the 500 has less pads so if youre in to sampling you'll probably ''run out of pads''. But I don't know very much about it.
Love the beat ALOT, this shits crazy....i dont know how you can make a beat this good and be a beginner i really dont 5 stars for this for sure. peace out and keep up the way more than good work
Peace Fat Track! I just finished checking out your other videos and, the jointz with Boon Doc. Ya'll killing shit for real! I have a question for you. I know you using a midi keyboard to trigger your sound racks my question is what rack are you using for bass notes specificly? If you could get back to me I'd really appreciate it.
dog this beat is dope as helllllllll! the keyboard ur usin looks like a regular midi keyboard, are you recording what ur playing on the keyboard into your mpc? if so how did u do that? i got a oxygen 61 keybrd and an mpc 2000, if that helps.
Thanks Blpro. Its a 61 key midi controller. Have the midi out from your midi controller goin into the mpc midi in. That will allow you to have the same sounds on the pads to be on the keys as well. Have your midi out from the mpc goin into a sound module A or B and you can pick 16 diff sounds from 2 diff sound modules.
ha.. they're racks wit sounds which he uses to sequence in the MPC, its basically like the hardware version of VST plug ins (virtual studio instruments). sick beat Trak!
yo fat trak... howd u manage to use that 1 midi keyboard wit all 3 of those sound modules if the mpc2000xl only has 2 midi ins n outs? im tryna do the same setup wit my shit?
that one was sick..aye i got a mpc 2000xl too and i cant figure out how to turn down the sound while its INSIDE the mpc..is that what you did in here or did i miss understand? letme know..nice beat
How did you set up your proteus and MIDI controller to your MPC using the mixer? how do you do get it so you can use different sounds from the proteus on the MPC?
For samples I get anything that catches my ear fam. Usually I stick to 70's but I've been samplin a lot of different feelin stuff like arabic or even polka soundin like stuff I kno it sounds wack but I try to do somethin a little different and if the beat comes out wack ima try again. 70s is the best tho
What's good Kenfrika, you gotta record your beats into pro tools or any program that will allow you to bounce the track as a wave file to put into itunes or windows media player. I hope that helps man
when you did the claps i noticed you hit two pads at the same time...i was wondering if you knew that you could assign two sound to be triggered by hitting one pad!!! just a tip....nice beats fam!!!
The beat is crazy...ya best yet....Im havin trouble hooking up my midi equiptment and Im a visual learner so I would appreciate it if you would make a video tutoial on how to hook everything up. Keep doin ya thing.
let me find out.. u done came a long way fat track.. quick too... guess boon doc aint just a good beatmaker but a good teacher as well... happy nu year and may all your dreams come tru boss...
thanks a whole heap man u've inspired me wid the producing thing. for a while ive been in deep thought about it, but now im ready! cheers man! gd luck stay blessed
mv 8000 I personally don't use. I've tried it out but didn't like it. Mpc for me is where it's at. the newer 1000 's have the pad upgrades so to me that would be the best bet
Yo man I been checkin your page you tight with it keep it up one suggestion tho put some artist on your tracks go all the way with being a producer your good DAMN! GOOD just keep it going
so you have the yamaha motif for your sound module? is that what you would recommend? im looking at some modules and damn they are costly, but if they get it lal done, i might have to invest in one...
Great work, i really am liking your stuff and i hope you come out with some more videos soon
Thanks man. Yeah I got the Es Rack mount.. I would recommend anything that your ear likes to hear for you to come out with for your music. Investing in one is well worth it though. You get what you pay for in music equipment . for sure. Check ebay they got great deals.
Any rack mount that fits your style of production. As well as a recording program such as pro-tools , cubase, or logic so you can track your beats out , a midi controller and a turntable with the mixer so you can sample. That should set you up pretty straight. GoD BLeSS
yo man was boonie makin a beat at the same time you were i heard some background music there. nonetheless liked the track man had a nice emperial china theme to it.
can i ask a question? how do you link up the midi controller, the rack, and sync it to the mpc? damn, i didn't have yet my motif rack, but i've been trying to use reason as a sound module and and i cant sync it to the mpc. can you give me a light about it? if you can, send me a message, i'll be very aprecciated:)
thanks man.. first you gotta have your midi out from the akai to the in on the motif rack.. have the out from your midi controller goin into your mpc.. which allows you to have sounds on the pads and keys... reason with the mpc is tough i'm not too sure about that one.
question for you fat ..do you have to get the sound module/motif if you buy the midi m-audio keyboard cuz i need that.right now i am just working with my mpd24 yo..and if i wanna get down on the melodies it's hard witht he pads of course..get back at me when u can.. good stuff man
I would go ahead and purchase a sound module... unless you're usin a computer program to make your beats. if you do I would just connect your mpd24 along with your midi controller and make beats with your computer program that way. if you don't you'd have to get a sequencer like the mp or whatever one that has midi outs. Hope that helps GoD BLeSs
heyyo man, nice shit...I feel you man....ma mpc 4000 is coming in tomorrow...tell me, do you think 4000 is better than a 2000 XL, 1000 or 3000?? Someone told me that the only difference is in the quality of the sound...thanks, keep doing ya thang boy!!! ~HIP~1~HOP~
To me, I believe that any mpc you got except for the 500 .. you'll be satisfied with any one of them. the 4000 is a beast tho. I personally like the xl cuz i use it but to each is own. you'll be happy you got one for real. GoD BLeSS
What Fat Trak and Booney May! I had a pleasure in watching yall grow on this site! Can't wait till I can jump on here with my sounds and vid's! Fat you coming around Homie! I like the trak! See yall on here in a couple months when I get back from KUWAIT! Keep inspiring the up and coming!
What midi is that ur using? and where can i get some sounds for a midi as well as for da mpc 1000? I know u go to bangin beats but i got vista and everything aint compatible
its an m audio midi controller. to get sounds you can get any rack mount sound module that you think would best fit your style of production. right now i don't know how to use vst's with my mpc but i'ma get into it eventually so i couldn't tell you about the compatibility.
Thanks again man for taking the time! every bit of info helps You and mizphit helping me out more than u know. The inspiration is crazy bruh once i'm finally set up ima send u some shit
get the program called "reason" it has a bunch of virtual racks that you can control via midi from your MPC sequencer, you can also use a keyboard if you connect it to mpc via midi.. i also suggest getting "recycle" so you can chop your samples and save them as rex2 files, and then load them up in a reason sampler (i prefer nnxt). good luck.
i like the style of your scratch beats...you can tell you have sampling skills and you use them in your beats made from scratch...GOODSHITakimushrooms
if u dont hear the audio try this at the end of the url &fmt=18

Any rack mount that fits your style of production. As well as a recording program such as pro-tools , cubase, or logic so you can track your beats out , a midi controller and a turntable with the mixer so you can sample. That should set you up pretty straight. GoD BLeSS

can i ask a question? how do you link up the midi controller, the rack, and sync it to the mpc? damn, i didn't have yet my motif rack, but i've been trying to use reason as a sound module and and i cant sync it to the mpc. can you give me a light about it? if you can, send me a message, i'll be very aprecciated:)

thanks man.. first you gotta have your midi out from the akai to the in on the motif rack.. have the out from your midi controller goin into your mpc.. which allows you to have sounds on the pads and keys... reason with the mpc is tough i'm not too sure about that one.

question for you fat ..do you have to get the sound module/motif if you buy the midi m-audio keyboard cuz i need that.right now i am just working with my mpd24 yo..and if i wanna get down on the melodies it's hard witht he pads of course..get back at me when u can.. good stuff man

GoD BLeSS

What midi is that ur using? and where can i get some sounds for a midi as well as for da mpc 1000? I know u go to bangin beats but i got vista and everything aint compatible
tfly619 4 years ago
its an m audio midi controller. to get sounds you can get any rack mount sound module that you think would best fit your style of production. right now i don't know how to use vst's with my mpc but i'ma get into it eventually so i couldn't tell you about the compatibility.

Thanks again man for taking the time! every bit of info helps You and mizphit helping me out more than u know. The inspiration is crazy bruh once i'm finally set up ima send u some shit

get the program called "reason" it has a bunch of virtual racks that you can control via midi from your MPC sequencer, you can also use a keyboard if you connect it to mpc via midi.. i also suggest getting "recycle" so you can chop your samples and save them as rex2 files, and then load them up in a reason sampler (i prefer nnxt). good luck.
