  • Avacados are GOOD fats and oils, just like nuts, just because it says it has fats, doesnt make it bad like all the crappy soda pops, and fast food crap yall eat XD

  • When I was 100% raw vegan, I ate up to 4 or 5 avocados a day sometimes and NEVER gained weight. People are dumb.

  • @FM897 That DOES NOT BY ANY MEANS make it healthy! Just because avocados are better than butter and animal fat does NOT mean that it is healthy to be eating that much! I hate how people who go on a raw food diet get all gung-ho and think they're the best in the world because they're living off fat, grass and stimulants. It's not your fault, not mad at you, and I support raw food, but it's just ridiculous. The meal in the video is ~100% calories from fat. Please look into 80/10/10 by Doug Graham.

  • @ocergnairb Avocados are nothing to panic over. We've been taught to fear fat in all its forms. The best way to test the healthiness of what you put into your body is to take yourself to the Dr. regularly. My diet worked perfectly for me, keeping my BP, cholesterol, etc. in the healthy ranges. My diet doesn't have to be yours, though; eat what keeps YOU healthy, raw or cooked! No reason for hate, frustration, etc- we don't have to follow any leaders when it comes to constructing a diet.

  • @ocergnairb I know it's not HEALTHY, I'm just saying that it won't make you gain weight. I agree that you shouldn't do that and I'm also an avid fan of Dr. Graham. He's the most reasonable raw foodist out there, as well as a truly brilliant man in general.

  • @ocergnairb That and Pritikin diet were so low in fat that people were listless, tired, and actually did not care to live any longer, with no energy. Skinny & so weak and and apathetic that you can't even enjoy life? No thanks. Eskimos lived on blubber. Think about that for a while! It's not fat that makes you fat--it's highly refined carbohydrates and nutritionless processed foods! It's sugar! I gained 40 lbs in 3 yrs on low-fat diet in the 90s. Wake up people, and do some real research!

  • @FM897 That's because you went (I'm guessing) from processed fats/animal fats to a plant fat...it's better than nothing, but if you continue that it's really not healthy. you were undercarbed and not eating enough fruit. c'mon people, listen to yourselves...4-5 fatty avocados a day? not good.

  • @BrianonLanguage I agree with you, and I admitted that I knew it wasn't healthy in my other comments. I only did that when I FIRST went raw and didn't know what I was doing. I know better now. The point I was trying to make was that even though I didn't know what I was doing and it's NOT a healthy thing to do, I still didn't gain weight. What I was trying to say is that fat is not the b-all end-all. It's not the enemy of all enemies.

  • Raw foodists eating healthy diets know how to balance the nutritional components of their meals, boxxxie. I used to eat an avocado daily when I ate 100% raw. My blood tests and physicals showed me to be extremely healthy. Remember, a raw pizza is simply one of many things you can eat on a raw diet. And, of course, you don't have to eat avocados at all. Your choice!

  • @rawallison i love raw food. but blood tests dont show shit, my granpa 87 years old smoked and drank his whole life and eat bad still his bloodworks test healty ... some people are just lucky

  • u have to be the biggest idiot ever. fat from avocado is completely different than processed fat. it's actually good for u and can make u lose weight. what a maroon!

  • U may not like to think of it but its true and there are better sources of calcium and protein, the people making money off youre buying milk wont tell u that though, I would wrather not be riddled with cancer or arthritis by age 65, thanks though. u motivate me to keep helping to educate people on the truth though, thanks! Oxygen=not much control, what i put into my body= full control AND responsibility

  • u should just look into exactly what cheese and flour do to your body, I think thats what she means by killing yourself only a little dramatic but in the long run......

  • I dont understand what your saying with this comment, why be conscious of improving the quality of life if something like oxegyn is slowly killing us anyway, ok?? I just want the BEST quality of life possible and things like cancer and other diseases are not necessary to go through or die from if u are concious of what u put into your body int the first place so I think I'll stick to that, thanks for the tip about oxegyn though, very useful:)

  • What I'm saying is that anything can be bad for you, anything from oxygen to cheese. So I do not like to think of eating cheese as slowly killing me, when in fact cheese is full of calcium and protein that makes me healthier now. It could in the long run harm my health, but so can oxygen. Understand? :)

  • @easternslavic GOOD cheeses. remember, Americans have been brainwashed into thinking American cheese or "cheese food" is real cheese. Blue cheeses, real parmesano reggiano, stilton, aged swiss, brie---all these good cheeses with good mold and real rind are unknown to most americans. Never heard of cambazolla or fontina or ricotta salata or buffalo mozzerella. They just eat crap and what's cheap.
