@harlequinngun (grammar nerd alert) actually if you say antimisanthrope, it would mean a person who is against misanthropes. Because the root mis- means opposite, then to be someone who loves humanity would be simply an anthrope or obviously a anthropist, not an antimisanthrope. :D

However, the reason he used the word antimisanthrope was not necessarily for the meaning as much as it was meant to be a play on words. He refers to taking it as the same way one would take a pill, or medicine - antihistimine - which is the jump in logic he way trying to create. The meaning, then, is sound. The man's a poet as much as he is a singer. =)
