@XReLaPs USC is a private school so state & location doesn't play much of a role in admissions. Check the freshman statistics in google to see if you fall close to the stats of those that made it in. It's certainly a selective school

@abekislevitz well i'm a sophmore, and last year i had a 2.9. this year around a 3.5 - 3.7. i do some community work and i swim for my school. do you think theres a chance id get in with good SAT scores if i keep my grades up?

@XReLaPs you never know! get super dedicated to your work, get your grades up (all A's from here on out) and study hard for the SAT. It's not always about grades, if you're passionate about something (ie filming) they'll pick it up.
