You have to crouch very low. I'm pretty sure that there is no button for it automatically so you have to go to the options and select a button for it. I think it is called "low crouch" or something. I hope this helps. At least it did help me.

@MrOgeidAzip1 Metro is made by some of the makers of Stalker, but of course if you want better atmosphere and more free roaming choose this game.

Metro is also great in my opinion, it's like watching a grim movie while you are playing it.

Both are excellent but i'd choose Stalker first for the original taste AND hours of gameplay.

3 areas seems way to small....from your gps view at 6:48....that area looks like any other area from clear sky. the first game was their best in my opinion. I didn't feel like i was running through the same areas over and over for hours on end...it seems this one might be just that. thats the only reason I haven't got this yet.why should i buy this over arma2 arrowhead? I love the stalker series I have the 1st two. but 3 areas,thats seems way to small and repetitive, hows the re-playability?

@TheFilthyBastard Those 3 areas are massive, the re playability is quite high, ive played it through three times. Each area is always different then the way you left it, even while you are gone mutants and stalkers are moving around and changing areas, so what was once safe may be a death trap. Sure i was also kinda iffy on only 3 areas but there is plenty of things to do.

@TheFilthyBastard what are you talking about? The first stalker had a linear game play, of course you can always go back and free roam (which is what I do all the time) but after you do it over 20-30 times you'd feel like it's the same stuff over again and again.

Call of Pripyat is a better RPG than Fallout 3 and it isn't even an RPG! I found more choices and consequences in Stalker. It also has vastly better atmosphere and more realistic than Fallout 3.

I'm just going to guess you don't know much about computer hardware. Well before you do reviews first of all get a better comp. 4830 is crap. Don'Why would you play at 1280x1024?! I know STALKER doesn't have the best graphics but higher quality over resolution comes first. If you put the resolution lower you might be able to go to high preset. Also, get a better mic. My reccommendation is that you save up $600+

I know a lot about computer hardware. Probably more then you. See, im not a rich fag, so i get what i can. A bit more then a year ago i built a new computer. Best graphics card i could afford is a 4830 it did its purpose but i killed it with OC. My Head set microphone sucks, i use a new USB microphone now. I just last month bought a HD 5770 Vapor-X OCE, sure its not a 5850 but im not a rich fag as i said earlier. And it plays perfectly fine in 1280x1024. Learn your facts please.

@James1803 its a good game because you have a lot of choices, for an example in a previous stalker, you start with only a handgun, in the woods you see somebody with a shotgun all alone, do you help him? or do you distract him (he wont attack you if you dont, he thinks hes ur friend) and kill him, and leave him without gear?

I guess its pretty open with what you can do I just didn't have any fun with it. When you shoot a dog with 20 rounds from an ak74 and it's still not dead thats just ridiculous. I don't want to have an epic difficult battle with a dog within the first five minutes of the game.

If you want to do artifact hunting and try out all the weapon/armor upgrades, it could take up to 20 hours. If you want to mess around with faction alignments, add another 30-40 hours. Few shooters have this kind of re-playability.

This game is a blast!!! I find it messed up how places like gamspot, ign and gt don't do vidoe reviews for this game. Biased console fanboy sites for sure. (gs used to not be like that) So thanks for the video review in english. This game is so freakn fun and needs more people buying it so they make another. I love fps-rpg hybrids. Deus Ex and Vampire Bloodlines and system shock before this game series came out. But this is the first open world ai fps like morrowind but a shooter.

I am pretty sure Stalker came before fallout 3, but if you have to compare then yes, stalker is a far better version of fallout 3. Also stalker is set in Chernobyl, if you don't know what that is, its a town in Ukraine where nuclear reactor blew up and destroyed the whole city in 1986. Nobody lives there to this day due to radiation.
