@petedog Im Sevilla FC fan and lots of our players have left the club to sign with Real Madrid or Barcelona. They will forever legends here and this is these house forever. I remember that Barry had a contract with Liverpool for past season but he left it for sign with City so Villa fans must known that he was leaving the club.

@CarlitoGuerrero I accept players wanting to leave and that is perfectly fair in my view. But all I ask of a player is to treat the football club and fans with respect. We have shown Barry a lot of support throughout his Aston Villa career. Gareth Barry was a great servant to this club, I believe my video highlights that fact. But he did not show the club any dignity when Liverpool were interested in him. I can totally understand why some Aston Villa fans are hostile towards him.
