the church has 2000 years of history but sometimes you alone say things that are not church like, how do you know for sure that you are not a falce prophet?

I had found that Jesus name was not even translated correctly. If it had it would be Yeshua. I went to God in prayer if this was correct. Not long after my 3 year old became ill with a high fever. He would not take medication and I could not get him to a doctor at that time so I prayed for him continueously. First in the name of Jesus what I grew up with, with no effect, then I thought ok I will try Yeshua and instantly after that prayer he broke out in a total sweat and was healed.

@tiger63073 The Holy Spirit guides us and teaches us all things, if we listen, even the scriptures also. The reason why there are so many churches and doctrines all from the same Bible is because most are not led by the Holy Spirit. The letter is dead but the Spirit give light and life to those who obey Him. I know the Bible but I listen to the Holy Spirit.

My friends don't forget God wants us to love and keep peace with each other. We do not know what's truly in the others heart nor should we try. If we have obeyed God and get His truth out there and others deny Him then the responsibility is lifted off of our shoulders. Part ways and let God take care of everything. In the book of Matthew a man comes to Jesus and asks how he is to be saved and Jesus said to obey The Commandments then Jesus goes on to say but to be perfect, go home, sell your things, give to the poor, and pick up your cross and follow me. Then in the book of Mark it says to do both of these things to be saved. So I understand while the Bible gets us off to a good start we do need to get our close relationship with God and have Him lead us in truth.

God commits his words to WRITING, spelling it out in black and white, so that if some spirit does come along telling us this or that, we will have a "standard" to judge that spirit by. You don't want to trust a voice you are hearing. Again, Peter said we have a more sure word of prophecy than even the audible voice of God, wherein we do well to take heed as to a light shining in a dark place, KNOWING THIS FIRST THAT NO PROPHECY OF SCRIPTURE, ....for the prophey (of scripture) did not come by the will of man, but holy men spoke (and WROTE) as they were moved by the holy spirit. God is fully able to give us a little book, if he can create a whale.

This earth will burn, the books will burn and we will stand in front of Jesus and He will say to many: "Go away I never knew you, you workers of wickedness" They quoted the book but never knew Jesus of the book.

@finalcall07 Many sinful wicked Christians quote the bible all the time out of context. These people are condemned not because they quoted the bible, but because they were not DOERS of the Word. They did not repent of their wickedness yet interestingly enough they still prophecied just as you say you do. So if you see some hot chick and desire her, and that Jesus you talk to says "Go ahead brother" and you do, then that's practicing wickedness. Would your Jesus alow you that?

@thehappyhoof Point being my Jesus of the book would not allow anything like that or anything that was contrary to sound doctrine, that teaches rightousness. But many how simply follow a spirit that talks to them, whom they think is Jesus do in fact practice lawlessness or wickedness and think they have God's blessing on them to do it. Because after all it's all "grace" and Jesus alowed it, though the book said not to.

Like commit adultery and fornication, or hurt and slight a brother or sister, or hate their eneimies instead of love them. Hence why we compair all things that are spoken by man or by spirit with the Written Word of God in full

Brother, there is a counterfiet spirit, a counterfiet Jesus and a counterfiet gospel, which is anot another, but a perverted understanding. How do you know the spirit that is speaking to you is not a counterfiet with out testing everything against IT IS WRITTEN, just like Jesus did. This is the deceiving part, for you are right on about these "manifestations" of holy spirit, but again, way off on what you think about the written word. Yet you quote the written word all the time.

@finalcall07 Well, taken in the context of the whole written word, and including that the Corinthians who pretty much all spoke in tongues, and the Epheisans who were the faithful in Christ Jesus, were all told they could STILL receive another spirit, another gospel, another Jesus, and also fall away and draw disciples after themselves, The saying "My sheep here my voice" is one of "choice" and in other words "MY sheep obey and follow my word, which my men will WRITE DOWN for them.

I did not say I truth is what "men" write down, I said I trust in what holy men of God spoke and wrote as they were moved by the holy spirit, and I trust God is fully able to give me a book that I also can trust. Jesus said the Holy Spirit will guide us into all truth and tell us things to come. Why are you not getting your guidance from the Holy Spirit? I am not asking to trick you. You trust in a spirit you think is the holy spirit, to guide you OUTSIDE of scripture, to come a literally talk to you and tell you the truth. I trust In God to guide me through his holy spirit INSIDE of scripture and obey the Word as I learn and my understanding is increased. If a spirit comes and tells me something it must line up with scripture in totality. For these are two wittnesses.

@thehappyhoof I understand more of what you are saying about scriptures and the errors here and there through translations. I understand that "some" bibles are not translations, but interpretations. But we have Greek interlinears, and we are to be WORKMEN who study to show ourselves approved, by rightly dividing the word of truth. IF you continue in my word, you shall be my disciples indeed and you shall know the truth. His word is scripture.

it also happens that sometimes i am unknowingly speaking in tongues. I heard from people later that i was, but i have no knowledge of that. I still dont understand why. I do speak in tongues, but sometimes i dont know i am speaking :)

Heybrother, I like your video. When i was baptized in the Holy Spirit , we were worshiping God with songs, then Holy Spirit took control of me, and it was like i was moved to another place i wasnt even touching the ground. I was saying poems to the Lord Jesus. But everyone else heard me speaking in tongues. So i believe the Baptism of the Holy Spirit its not just a feeling brother :) Peace

@MrSlippin22 Tongues is the sign of receiving the baptism in the Holy Spirit, not of being born again. Baptism in the Holy Spirit is a gift, promised to all who are born again. the unbelievers cannot receive it. It is not a qualification that guarantees salvation. Only those who endure until the end will be saved and have the crown of life. We must ask Jesus for the baptism in the Holy Spirit, wait on Him in prayer the same as the first believers did and He will give us syllables to utter.

The enemy has tried to plant doubt in my mind several times regarding tongues I received when I was baptized in the Holy Spirit. He attacks me through my intellect...this video is a reminder that it is impossible to please God without faith. I have neglected this gift for far too long. I, like you, went astray for years, but have come back and the devil will not stop telling me that I was rejected...lying to me...also people will accuse you of "false tongues"...it's a shame they do that.
