  • Me gustó mucho, pero sin ofender, no entiendo que es ¿es una plaza? me parece un lugar lindo para caminar, pero no me gustaría verlo con algún tipo de local comercial como McDonall's :S

  • are you using iMac or mac pro for this job?

  • Can you help me a bit? I am using archicad 12, but have no ideea on how to render something i created in artlantis. is there a possibility that i have different and uncompatible archicad and artlantis versions? I tried saving the archicad pln into almost any type of format available but artlantis refuses to open any of them. If that might be the problem, could you help me with a version of artlantis compatible with archicad 12? Thank you.

  • @andreipardos Go to the 3d window in archicad first, and then try saving. Saving from the 3D window gives you different save/export options than saving from the normal 2d window

  • is the new 13" MB Pro 2.3GHz i5 good for archicad?

  • How much time did your computer took to render the whole movie? :]

  • what sortfware did u used for the animation?? plsss reply tnx

  • @MrMadness28 read the title. or the description

  • What kind of PC used on this one? and What is your PC specification?

I'm an Architecture student and i need one. Thanks

  • @acco7rd Definitely get a Mac

  • @crescen3 What is your Mac specs?

  • @acco7rd LOL PC? Get a Mac man...

  • How long did it take to design?? :)

  • How did you put grass in your 3d model? Did you place it in ArchiCAD by GDL object or do you have 3d model for Artlatis? Please tell my I need grass XD

  • @haoss5ice Cant remember but pretty sure the grass was a gdl object in archicad - either way you should be able to find something similar online somewhere

  • @crescen3 I have download grass as GDL object but 3dmodel is than very large. By the way thank you for the tip and if you have time you can see my video:) /watch?v=9q5DZNTQlaM

    Thank you again!

  • I think I just got a boner.

  • the name of the song - Steve Jablonsky My Name Is Lincoln

  • Esto es espectacular, la verdad el diseño es una pasion. Che alguien me puede decir como se llama la musica?

  • Hello can i ask you some questions? (maybe put answers in description afterwards?)

    resolution?

    frames per second?

    antialiasing and radiosity?

    TY!

  • far too much glare on the timber

  • No sé exactamente por qué, pero cuando comencé a ver el interior lo asocié a algo científico, de laboratorio. Ahora veo que decís que es algo relacionado a la farmaceútica; eso quiere decir que hiciste un buen trabajo. Felicitaciones.

I wonder why I thought it's something related to the science, or a lab. Now I read that it's some for pharmaceutical; this mean that you made a good job. Congratulations.

  • THE NOAME OF THE SONG IS "my name is lincoln" . It s "the Island" and "Avatar" s soundtrack. Beautiful architecture by the way

  • good but too much glare

  • wtf, this is amazing:O

  • wow!!i love it!! gret work!! when i make an animation my pc late 8 hrs for 20 seg.....i think that you have a Super PC!! jejeje

    5 stars

  • please, what is the name of the music. thanks i guess is from Avatar

  • It's from "The Island" movie - directed by Michael Bay. Music composed by Steve Jablonsky. I don't know wich track.

  • Excellent work !!! Artlantis defies 3ds and it is easier....

  • rly nice animation...how many sequences did u have 2 render?

  • couldnt even imagine how ling that took to render, i did a project of 2 minutes, with about half the quality of that and i had to leave it go for about 20 hours... props, seriously nice work

  • Very nicely lookin project, will it be realised in future, or did it remains only as a sketch? =-)

IMO, a little bit fewer of the blur effect will fit it more.

  • wtf amazing

  • The name of the song ? Please send me a message

  • read comments please, so many people have asked that

  • I work in archicad 13 and render in 3ds max 2009, great combination...

  • best technical software ever created so. excelent

  • excelent work!!! too much shiny for me... O_o

    but still AMAZING!!!

  • How do you get such a realistic environment?

    Extra environment object textures?

    Beautiful video btw.

  • how did you made the water moving? in artlantis?

  • for the facade treatment in 0:41 and 1:49

i wonder how could you achieve that, GDL?

  • Yep I use GDL for most textures - it gives a realistic depth that you can't easily get with texture maps. For the texture at 0:41, I just created a parametric extruded rectangle, with adjustable angles, and offsets, and then used solid operations to make the final shape.

  • @crescen3 i use artlantis and archicad but how did u do the animation pls help

  • me gusto, buen trabajo. 5/5

which is the name of the project and what is its function?

  • Thanks, its a design for a 'brandhub' for a pharmaceutical company

  • What the name of the song?

    and AMAZING WORK realy AMAZING

  • Wow everyone seems to love the song - its the theme song from the movie 'the island' by steve jablonsky

  • wow!!

  • and thats what i like in artlantis, you showed the best of it.. btw. nice project ;]

  • Hi,

Very impressive. I was curious about the grass polygons in your model. How did you achieve the grass?

    Regards,

    Dean - Grad Architect

  • Thanks - The grass is just made from a gdl object (can't remember where I got it from), which I added some gdl parameters to to allow the angle to be changed. You can also do something similar with meshes.

  • wow! totally awesome. i ve been studying architecture now for 1year and im questioning myself, how long it took to create something like that? must have taken really long, hasnt it?

and please tell me the title and the artist of the song played :-)

    keep up the good work!

  • Thanks :-) The music is the theme from the movie 'the island' by composer steve jablonsky. The movie took about a week to make, not including 3d modelling (would be quicker in future, this was my first video.

  • excellent work... kudos

  • hi very nice animation, how many frames did you use?

  • I think I used 15FPS, so that makes 3345

  • Very nice model. Congrats.

  • esta increible!!! muy padre.... Congratulations!!! very awsome!!! Maybe someday I'll make something like that... mate beatiful animation.

  • amazing animation, very professinal. I also love the music, it goes very well with the presentation. I have a question for you, if you don't mind. If i have a ed model in AutoCad is it posible to make a GDL out of it. Thanks.

  • Thanks! I haven't used autocad for about 5 years but I'm pretty sure its easy to transfer autocad to archicad - if you google it you should be able to find a tutorial

  • Nice!!!

  • We added your animation to our playlist.

Vist the videopage of our website.

  • Beautiful work.

  • what artist is playing this music? or how it's called?

  • Its the theme song from the movie 'The Island', by composer Steve Jablonsky.

  • W O W

    + 120000000

  • Wow stunning. Just curious, how long did that take to render? I have a Macbook Pro, and it takes about 48 hours to render a 2 minute video, but not with the amount of objects you have....

  • Nice man, great job, what are the stats of your computer?

  • Thanks, I'm using a 24" 2.8Ghz Core 2 Duo iMac, 2GB ram

  • Thanks for all the comments! I can't remember where I got the plants, but they were artlantis objects, not archicad. And I used only the default shaders, but used GDL scripts in archicad to create 3d textures.

  • Do you know where i can Get Atlantis??

  • You can get it free from Graphisoft if you're a student, otherwise you need to buy it

  • Can you please say more about the GDL scripting? Was it used for the wood facade? and how long did it take to render on just 2 gigs of RAM?

  • Yes I used GDL for the wooden facade, its simply a collection of long skinny boxes, each tilted by a random amount with a random thickness. Can't remember how long it took to render, since the whole video is made up of a number of different 'scenes' - in total the whole thing would have taken around 30 hours to render I think.

  • Was the GDL scripting done for the grass?

  • Nope the grass was an object I found somewhere. Wouldn't be hard to do in GDL though, just need to use random angles/lengths a lot.

  • Thanks a lot for the information. I am very impressed with your work.

  • man where did u get the plants and tjhe shaders ? stunin

  • speechless!! the best

  • One of the best Artlantis rendered animation in u-tube.Good job ...

  • Muy buen trabajo!

  • i am very impressed

  • Thanks! Haha everyone loves that song - its actually the theme song from the movie 'The Island', by Steve Jablonsky

  • Wow totally amazed!!! what´s the name of the song?? congrats!!!! beautifull design and presentation!

  • wow, im stunned, great job! big props! :)

  • Thanks for the comments! And yes OhMaJuck you're I probably should have intro & credit, but this is my first ever video animation so I don't really know how yet! The project was part of my arch degree, doesn't have a name per se but it was a design for a pharmaceutical company/ & medical center.

  • whats the name of the building? was this your uni project? you should have intro and credit

  • love the design...interior...conceptualization..material use and the whole idea of walking under those bridges....keep up the wood work

  • good job .........
