  • Great music. I just stumbled upon Buster Prince on Last.fm and I was blown away by his dynamic, original and vibrant sound.

  • Don't get me wrong. I really love this video but it "skips" every 3 seconds and it's such a shame. This is such a gem. Could someone please fix these annoying skips?

  • good old music and happy times. man i remember those days as a little girl in west kingston say 1961

  • bueniisimo ... exelente

  • Ha ha! I still have the full video to this on my shelf, have never seen it on DVD otherwise I would've re-newed it. The Video is called 'This is Ska' My brother bought me it for my 15th Birthday, fuck me that was over 20 years ago. It has Prince Buster, Jimmy Cliff, Toots and the Maytals and a few others when they were really young playin at the Sombrero Club in Kingston. Toots and the Maytals played 2 really catchy tunes 'Treat me bad' and 'She will never let you down' Ska at its best!

  • It's a beautiful thing...I have it on PAL - video (live in California...) my PAL tv's been dead for years...

  • Thanks, MOONSTOMP, for identifying the "Toots and the Maytals" song. I taped a BBC show that aired on PBS years ago about the history of Jamaican music and it turned me onto Derrick Morgan and theSkatalites. I just watched it again after 6 years or so and I spent part of today trying to find the Toots and the Maytals song featured in the documentary and could not find it..that is until I searched for the Prince Buster song featured (above) and read your comment . Thanks again!!!!

  • Amazing footage of the main man ! Nice one thanks!

  • Incredible footage! Thanks!

  • This is what it's all about.

  • Cecil Campbell eres un genio!!!!!!!!!!

  • Great early footage of a great artist and lovely dancers too! Ska music was an essential element of the UK Mod scene in the 60's and Buster was the King of it. I was a teenager in the 80's and loved the influence he and others like Jimmy Cliff Desmond Decker and Bob and Marcia had on all the 2 Tone artists and nowadays I collect the original Vinyl - Life goes full circle. JOYOUS MUSIC!

  • what a great singer! what a great time of music!

    thanks for this review!

  • Who is the drummer behind Buster? Was that Drumbago?

  • a classic and so rare! wonderful and brilliant!
