The machine here is NOT a Model E Bowl-Mor. Allow me to explain. Back when Bowl-Mor was still in business, they sold a number of Model Es in Japan. The machines were copied/modified by the Japanese, and this is what is in your video. The machines returned to the US several years ago. Most of them were resold in Canada. True Model Es have pin a conveyor assembly like the older Bowl-Mors and a chain driven sweep which visually resembles the sweep on these machines. Cool vid, though! :)
Does anyone know which Model the machines at Fairway Sports World are? They use the same sweep as the standard Bowl Mor (Model D I think), but the pin table is the same as these Model E's.
To bad you can't get behind the lanes at Lanes & Games in Cambridge Ma. and get a nice video of the Jayne machine. I would love to see that in action again as the last time I saw them from the back was when I was a kid at the Holyoke Bowl-O-Drome. They are gone from there now, they were pulled a few years ago in favor of the regular Bowl-Mor machine.
NHCHamp, its not a modified version of a bowl-mor, its they way the machine left the factory. It was the last model they produced before going under in 79-ish. (I think?)
Do you know what year those machines were installed? I had seen those on another video but I didn't realize there was a modified version of the Bowl-Mor pinsetter.

and those Jayne's are STILL running strong! I love those machines, especially since the pins can go way up in the air!
