Your factory code is still having the same scattered 'new' keyword. Just that it shifted from client to factory, the original problem is not solved! You should use Dependency Injection in conjunction with Factory to solve this problem. Nice video though.
@sekhara yes the keyword is shifted and the problem is decoupled from UI by using a interface. I personally think DI is just a automation for factory pattern.
I don't think you're too fast, I just believe this is a very difficult subject to grasp at first glance with no design pattern background. I'd say the best way to approach is to read up (you know in a book) on the Factory Pattern, and then come back here and refine it with this video. For the 7 minutes that it is, it's a great job...very tough subject.
Shiv Prasad, you are best teacher I ever known, you r really smart person. but one request Please improve your english accent. I dont think it's hard for u. there are so many videos on youtube. search this "Lesson 1a - "TH" - English Pronunciation "
Hello chaste English speaker from Israel, before poking fun at others English just see what you have typed "why are you Indian?!?!" hahaha. On the same note, may I ask "why are you Israeli?!?!"
Great , Not even GOF explained so well. You went in to depth and then gradually rised to the complete concept.
High quality with the typical indian accent makes me proud to say I AM INDIAN. There are many videos out there who try to mimic the US accent , i think quality is more important than accent this video clearly explains it.
Yes, this is fantastic video, like many other --ShivPrasad Koirala's-- other work. He deliver's quality.
This doesn't declare that every Indian video is great and Indians should be proud of.
**
People try accents for global audience - not for Indians. However, the key is to maintain quality. There are enuf videos by foreigners and Indians with quality + accents.

We often get carried away by small things and shout "Jai hind" or proud of indian. We're no where close to gr8
roflmao. no offence meant but I can't stop laughing because of that Indian accent and repeated clicks sound.

Isn't that both problem can be solved through DI or IOC Spring-Core and use of Interface.

You have a good understanding, but you need to slow down while delivering the speech. You are too fast!

It was good the way that your simplified the pattern...It's a pattern that can be very useful, instead of the Switch-Case statement...

I like this video but i have few suggestion to improve it
1: If the person is teaching it becomes difficult to understand when he/she is yelling.
2: Lots of "You know" ... seems like teaching to a closest friend.
I am not criticizing you but this is my personal suggestion that might help you.
