  • roflmao. no offence meant but I can't stop laughing because of that Indian accent and repeated clicks sound.

  • Your factory code is still having the same scattered 'new' keyword. Just that it shifted from client to factory, the original problem is not solved! You should use Dependency Injection in conjunction with Factory to solve this problem. Nice video though.

  • @sekhara yes the keyword is shifted and the problem is decoupled from UI by using a interface. I personally think DI is just a automation for factory pattern.

    Thanks questpond com

  • Very well explained.. thank you.

  • thanks, this is very useful..

  • Learned a lot from this vid, thank you!!

  • Nice vid, the explanation is very clear; however the coding example is unreadable IMO.

  • Awesome!

  • great video!

  • Excellent !! Many thanks :)

  • Excellent ... very easy to understand.... good work.. keep it up

  • Genius, Extremely Simplified.

  • perfect

  • perfect

  • /o/ that indian accent!

  • @93zee You don't like it? I think it' really sexy! ;)

  • If i add a new method in the Interface then the client codes need to be recomplied to implement the new method..rite?

  • Please make your code screen more visible. Thanks for the good example.

  • Good one

  • Fantastic SImple and Clear... Thanks for this video. Really loved it

  • Good one. Simplified & clear.

  • I don't think you're too fast, I just believe this is a very difficult subject to grasp at first glance with no design pattern background. I'd say the best way to approach is to read up (you know in a book) on the Factory Pattern, and then come back here and refine it with this video. For the 7 minutes that it is, it's a great job...very tough subject.

  • You have a good understanding, but you need to slow down while delivering the speech. You are too fast!

  • It was good the way that your simplified the pattern...It's a pattern that can be very useful, instead of the Switch-Case statement...

  • Shiv Prasad, you are best teacher I ever known, you r really smart person. but one request Please improve your english accent. I dont think it's hard for u. there are so many videos on youtube. search this "Lesson 1a - "TH" - English Pronunciation "

  • @dipak1977patel I like Hindu pronunciation because imho it is more clearable for non-english native people.

  • nice video explaining factory pattern.

  • The best explanation of the Factory Design pattern I've ever seen, sure beats my old software engineering lecturer.

  • Fantastic job explaining the pattern in theory and practice. Thanks!

  • why are you Indian?!?! I can't understand you :)

  • @mail2rpg why am I israeli? because your Nazi friends from Germany didn't succeed to annihilate the Jewish race, that's why

  • Really nice way of teaching!!!! Hats off... any one knows how to download the code which he used for example?

  • Boss, You did a great job, Can't say anything more about this....

Please continue this good work in this simple way.

    Thanks, Krishna Bari

  • Take a note lecturers This video demonstrates how to demonstrate and explain something quickly and efficiently.

  • very very nice explaination...

  • Good Work!!!

  • Great video!! v ery well explained!

  • nice

  • Great , Not even GOF explained so well. You went in to depth and then gradually rised to the complete concept.

High quality with the typical indian accent makes me proud to say I AM INDIAN. There are many videos out there who try to mimic the US accent , i think quality is more important than accent this video clearly explains it.

  • @surajfrommumbai :

Yes, this is fantastic video, like many other --ShivPrasad Koirala's-- other work. He deliver's quality.

This doesn't declare that every Indian video is great and Indians should be proud of.

    **

People try accents for global audience - not for Indians. However, the key is to maintain quality. There are enuf videos by foreigners and Indians with quality + accents.

    **

We often get carried away by small things and shout "Jai hind" or proud of indian. We're no where close to gr8

  • Thanks..this finally made things clear for me

  • Very well explained... right to the point... and clearly explained what problems were trying to be solved... 5 stars.

  • I like this video but i have few suggestion to improve it

1: If the person is teaching it becomes difficult to understand when he/she is yelling.

2: Lots of "You know" ... seems like teaching to a closest friend.

I am not criticizing you but this is my personal suggestion that might help you.

  • Seriously excellent!

  • amazing .... well done.. awesome

  • Great Video and clearly explained. Thanks.
