@ian1856 My comment was meant as constructive criticism, which I'm sure Julia would appreciate. A rule of thumb in musical presentation is that through your expression and technique the audience should come to you, there is no need to go to the audience. Aside from that, my comment was not meant to be rude (as yours obviously was). I suggest you only comment on things you only have some knowledge about.

What a fabulous instrument. I wish so much that the tempo on this were just a hair slower. The piece definitely improved as it went on as there were some areas in the beginning where pitch was an issue. I think that a slower tempo probably would have helped with that. But, the upper register was just wonderful. I don't think I've ever heard those notes sung with such clarity, and it really is breathtaking. Again, what a lovely instrument.

Wow! Excellent performance!! What an incredible range she has. She sings as high as the heavens with has a wonderful voice. Her face is definitely animated while singing but that didn't bother me at all. I can only imagine how hard that piece is to sing. She sounds a lot like Renee Fleming in the lower register. I wished the tempo would've been a little slower as it felt a little rushed but great job and most enjoyable!
