teddy we miss you. eloquent spokespeople for progressivism are sadly pretty rare in the US these days. you helped so many of us, and the US is better for your work.
Ted Kennedy was a great man who worked tirelessly for the working people, civil rights and basic equality for all. Without his hard work, my grandparents, my parents, my life and my children's lives would have been different. Thank you Sen. Kennedy. Rest in Peace
I'm still amazed at how Republicans can claim that Democrats don't care about the working man but they do when they repeatedly take the side of their corporate benefactors over the American worker. It's just baffling to me how any clear thinking, intelligent person (which some Republicans obviously are) can actually believe that. Are they really drinking their Kook Aid a bit much or is the pull of the party that strong? Is party loyalty really more important than the truth?
this is just another form of communism the real problem is debt. gov. debt and personal debt. look at the trade imbalance with china. we are getting killed because the people want the gov. to do everything. wake up and be responsible.
And with the help of our unions we can help keep Jobs here in the US so that our childen will have a future. That is why I pay my small amont of dues. It is all about responsibility for our future generations.
You are sadly fooling yourself. Unions, by driving up the cost of labor, forces the corporations to take their business out of this country. It SEEMS like they are working for you but look at all the companies that were doing fine 30-40 years ago and because of union demands are now gone or gone overseas. Why? Simple... cost of labor forced to become to high.
The pendulum swings and the ball is in our court "the working class" will stand true. Without the sweat of their employees Corperate America is nothing, would produce nothing, and would be worth nothing. Whats wrong with a hard working man being able to buy a car, or maybe even a house, how about take his son or daughter to the doctor. Unions Need a little help from the Senate, it's our turn AND I MEAN THE WORKING MEN AND WOMEN OF AMERICA
Rest in peace Teddy. you will be missed

If I were to (drunk) drive a girl into a river, then leave her to die, only to call the police the following morning, I would still be in prison.
