  • @Tomacomo What Sherman did, compared to South Carolina's idiotic secession, looked like a saint's march. South Carolina seceded, and started a war that killed thousands of people. Georgia helped supply the South's rebellion. And it was the -people- who supported it, so Georgia and South Carolina got what they deserved from Sherman, which, when you actually read into it? Sherman did nothing wrong.

  • @beckii6vr Sherman actually loved the South and the Southern people; he just wanted to end the war like a lot of others on both sides wanted it to be over. And while Sherman was harsh in battle, he was also generous to those he defeated. In many ways, Sherman was more of a true Southerner than he was a Northerner.

  • stick'em up to the johnnies!! I'm not even even American, but everyone's happy the slave-owners didin't win...

  • i cant believe when reading about it. general sherman was a war criminal. i am a northerner, filthy northern yankee dogs.

  • Lyric Hullo, Hullo We are the Billy Boys Hullo, Hullo You'll know us by our noise We're up to our knees in fenian blood Surrender or you'll die For we are The Brigton Derry Boys

  • look up( Hullo Hullo We Are The Billy Boys) its amazing

  • yeah! fuck the south!

  • The Best Rusian patriotic song (Russian-georgian war_aug2008)

  • Thank you, Gone With the Wind, :)....

  • Every attempt to make war easy and safe will result in humiliation and disaster.

    -William Tecumseh Sherman

  • Quiet everyone, let's just enjoy the song.

  • And when the cowardly Lincolnites marched through Georgia they burned every thing in sight. Progress the flag of Dixie me boys! [X]

  • @sky12066sed3

Shut up you butthurt redneck. You lost.

  • oh the ignorant north and a doomed south if only true JUSTICE was served

  • You Sir are correct. It is despised in the South and with good reason. Sherman should have been drawn, quartered, and hung for his war crimes but instead was made a hero by the ignorants in the North.

  • @Sixgun51 God Bless William Tecumseh Sherman, a true American hero.

  • @Sixgun51 There really was no such thing as war crimes at the time so he did not in fact commit any crime. Sherman was a commander who did what he had to do to win and win he did. Are his methods uncouth to us today indeed they are laws now exist to prevent such things but again at the time no law to my knowledge at least existed. If no law exists there can be no real crime committed. To have hung drawn and quartered him would have in fact been a crime.

  • omg its awesome!!!!

  • HULLO, HULLO!!!!!!

  • South lost the war war ended long time ago. Traitors lost everyone get over it.

  • @ted1045= Yeah. I'm from Texas. I say, get over it. You lost the lousy war. What's the point in complaining about something that took place long before we were ever around? The Italians don't bother me for the Sack of Rome.

  • Long live the Grand Army of the Republic! Hoora!!

  • As someone said:It's a tune.... so is Lilibulero.... Slaves: No slaves in Texas, the Mexicans wouldn't allow it. So what did they do? Indentured Black workers for 99 years. BTW, I'm a Brit and it was the Portuguese that transported the first African Slaves. Either way, it was and still is immoral. "Tragedy and despair felt by the other side."? Families on all sides must have suffered.

  • I was delighted to find this song. I sang along with it. I learned the words from

my mother, a Southern lady. She liked a Yankee song. i have always refused to

get into Rebel/Yankee discussions. It's a nice song!

    deralteist

  • READ A FCKING BOOK

  • You sir are an idiot, you think a group of ppl in poverty, many of which couldn't even afford shoes to wear into battle, all owned slaves??? Get a fucking clue.

  • If the South rose again, Sherman would rise again and kick the shit out of them again. Cry harder.

  • @p00pl0rd haha, best quote I have read today.

  • Ashamed it is that people render non effect the bravery and sacrifice of the men of the South simply because they don't agree with their political views.

I dint much agree with Japans attack on Pearl Harbor but have the utmost respect for the Kamikaze pilots flying their planes into the U.S. fleet.

  • They weren't singing there way through Georgia. They were too busy burning the homes and crops of innocent farmers, taking for the sake of taking and mistreating the slaves they claimed to protect.

  • @pkw0112

By referring to black people as niggers, you're sinning against God.

  • Four of my greatgrandfathers fought for the South - Shiloh, Seven Pines, Brentwood, Thompson Station, Raymond, Atlanta, Franklin, Nashville, Bentonville, Beulah. One even fought for the Yankees to get out of POW prison. My wife’s ggrandfather was in the 27th VA Stonewall Brigade from Manassas to surrender at Appomattox. All of their fathers or grandfathers fought in the Revolution or 1812 War.

The South lost the war fair and square, but don’t expect us to get over it any time soon.

  • @tmodel1000

I got over the rape of nanking. I got over the Opium wars. I got over the spheres of influence. I don't hate white people for invading other countries, raping, pillaging, spreading disease, conquering natives, treating them as slaves and lessers.

German's don't hate the allies for what they did, the Japanese don't hate America for the atomic bomb.

Why don't you get over losing a single war where the South was ultimately in the wrong to begin with. You weren't even alive then.

  • the hell its despized! is a song to prase the slotering, berning, and rapes of the south done by the union, unjustfully!

  • @redconfederate you need a grammar class. and a history class.

  • Was this on the Ken Burns Civil War documentary? I saw it somewhere but I dodn't remember where.

  • Why are some still fighting the Civil War? It's way past over, and the south lost. What else would anyone have expected at the outset? So, man up and move on to a better place. We can do better.

  • @woodscritter

Because some people are tools and idiots, that's why. They haven't learned and they never will. You can sum of the futility and frivolousness of it all by comparing it to the hatfield and macoy feud. The feud outlived those involved. There's no reason for the cycle to exist or continue.

  • It's funny that the Southerners hates Sherman for his march to the sea,but at the same time, these same southern assholes who hated Sherman for what he did treated the blacks less than human beings.

  • The Civil War is over...it was what it was...if nobody has learned from the lessons of thousands of dead men, then it was all for naught. When people continue to hold animosity and hatred to those from history, they themselves are no better than any man who made the same mistake in the past. It was a diifferent world back in the 1800's. Don't forget to look at EVERYONE'S past and realize what continent slavery first began and who participated....

  • @Fitzgeraldtmarie

Truth. Truth. These fools who cry on about the Civil War and can't "forgive" the North are denialists and Lost Cause nimrods who discredit their ancestors and those that fought and died. Shame. Shame and woe upon them.

  • God Bless The USA! God Damn The CSA!

  • "I will make Georgia howl" Gen William Tecumseh Sherman

  • @Taiginator to a rangers fan the word "Fenian" is an insulting word to an Irish man, or an Irish descendant, or normally just a Celtic fan, it's considered negative and basecly and insult. it hasn't got anything to do with the Fenian group from years ago.

  • @Taiginator at least Just Can't Get Enough isn't sectarian.

also that song as been played a couple of years, you've song billy boys for years and years and will sing it for years to come. unlike us singing J.C.G.E.

  • @Taiginator Suppose huns are to thick to come up with originals so they copy songs and change the words to vile sectarianism

  • @pkw0112 your wrong it wasnt fort sumter. they attacked fort wagner. plus its spelled sumter, not sumpter fyi. i forgot, you probably never finished 2nd grade.

  • @pkw0112 OFLOL! You say you are "a dead Nigger Fag, getting it up your glory hole by another CONfedeRAT yanking your tiny stub near Ft. Sumpter"?

OK, I can understand why you identify yourself in that way! :D

+ THE UNION FOREVER -- DEO VINDICE -- God Bless The USA!

  • @pkw0112 Hey little Fag, take your Commie/Nazi liberal fantasies and stick them up your gaping anus! :D

Yes, I have pissed, crapped, and spit on your tyrannical homosexual CONfedeRAT Flag....and you can't do a thing about it! ;D

You hate "niggers"? "YOU are the only 'nigger' around here" -- Quote Morgan Freeman to Denzell Washington, from "Glory"! ;D

The Loyal South has crushed the criminal CONfedeRATcy....

    "The UNION FOREVER" -- Said Robert E. Lee's DADDY x 26!

+ God Bless The USA! :)

  • when was this recorded?

  • hello hello we are the billy boys!

  • I'm a Brit, and William Tecumseh's always been a bit of a hero of mine on the quiet...and I loved the typically cussed quote where he said Grant had supported him when he was mad, and he supported Grant when he was drunk...

  • Sorry, no Southerner would approve of this song. The South should have a song about the barbarians and thieves destroying their country,

  • Sherman should have been prosecuted as a war criminal.

  • fuck you union pigs. we will return and do the same to you one day.

  • @aarondavis2012

I hope you hold your breath until that happens.

  • @aarondavis2012 then get whipped again!

  • The South will burn again!

  • This song makes me want to burn Georgia to the ground again. Tecumseh was the MAN.... I'd follow him through Hell itself.

  • @drdst17Be my guest. He may very well be there.

  • Guys for chrissakes... it's a tune. Chill. Look to the now and the future instead of living 160 years in the freakin' past.

It doesn't make you patriotic... it makes you seem mentally limited and inbred.

    Eric

  • FLY THE STARS AND BARS OVER THE NYSE!

  • Great playing/singing Jay & Molly! You are the BEST of the BEST. Ashokan Fiddle & Dance - Man, I wish I was there...

  • Notice fuck head "rebel" wants you to look at "regimental records" Fuck that. Read what the SOUTH said and did BEFORE the war. Read the insane demands to spread slavery -- the violence, the rapes the torture. Read about the South bragging it had completely shut down free speech against slavery -- even if that meant arresting and torturing white preachers who spoke against slavery.

Learn what scum sucking pigs these were.

  • @12FlyMe lol you are full of crap most slave owners never tortured or raped anyone and only 6% of the south owned slaves. The north did the same thing to Confederate sympathizers, they imprisoned them until the war was over. How about you read about how Lincoln and the north was racist and separated their blacks soldiers while the south made them fight side by side with whites.

  • @RonPaulLovesBlacks1 Lee probably raped his slave girls -- he had a bunch of them that were very light skinned, and some of their babies were white looking. Lee paid six times his normal bounty for hunters to capture one girl, according to his own hand written account books. He was obsessed with her. Why? We don't know, other than possibly because she had a white looking baby. When Lee's hunters caught her, Lee had her tortured. Then apparently he sold the baby.

  • @12FlyMe lee freed his slave before the war grant didn't .... where the hell did you get this shit from ?

  • @RonPaulLovesBlacks1 Actually dumb ass almost half the FAMILIES had slaves in South Carolina. While only one person had legal title -- those slaves worked for dozens.

The 48% of families that owned slaves were the families that ran things - they were the rich, the powerful, they judges, the congressmen, the bankers. There was really no other game in town, you either got rich using slave labor -- or supplying those who did.

And the South bragged about that at the time, dumb ass

  • @12FlyMe uhh no according to the U.S census only 6% of the south had slaves. regardless that wasn't what the war was fought over. Plus the average southerner cant afford a slave. The only ones that can are the rich and have them in mass quantities.

The north isn't innocent either rich men in the north bought plantations from the south like GRANT

  • @RonPaulLovesBlacks1 Sorry dumb fuck, of the Confederate leaders -- the top 200 or so men who essentially ran it -- virtually 100% were slave owners or came from slave owning families

Go read the Southern leaders BRAGGING that slave owners controlled everything. 50% of families owned slaves.

Lee, for example, has about 100 slaves, but your census would not count him as an "owner" since his wife had title.

  • @12FlyMe They counted him because they were marred and according to marriage laws what hers is his.

  • @12FlyMe uhh no you are wrong. Lee freed his slave before the war and stonewall Jackson didn't own slaves.

Only 6% of the south owned slave U.S census.

  • @RonPaulLovesBlacks1 But the political impetus for secession was aggressive and militaristic expansion of slavery prompted by wealthy slave owners and encouraged by a healthy dollop of white supremacist rhetoric.

The soldiers fighting on the confederate were honorable men fighting for a bad cause.

  • @12FlyMe Have you ever noticed that there are 2 (two) King James versions of the Bible? Oh Yeah, one for the South, and another for the rest of the world! Seems that Southerners banded together in the 1700's to rewrite "God's view" on slavery. Generations o' good-ol boys was raised on LIES! Just to protect the wealthy and privileged few! So, decent men, who never owned a slave, were led (in GOD'S name) to fight for the "rights" of weathy slavers.

    Shame upon you, Dixie!

    GOD BLESS THE UNION!

  • @REVBia no, very interesting. I would like to see more about that. I personally think the bible is pure fiction, no matter what version, but Southerners sure preached a violent, torturing GOd. We aren't told about that now, Lee himself said God intended slavery to be cruel and painful to blacks, because it was "necessary for their instruction". Even the rape and outright torture of slave GIRLS was BOASTED about in their books. See "Slavery - Ordained of God" by Pastor Ross 1855

  • @12FlyMe The South were traitors plain and simple, "StatesRights" my ass! The only right they wanted was to make money from another man's labor based on the color of his skin. Its was the pure greatness of character and the truely noble heart of Gen. Grant that he didn't line them up and execute them as traitors should be. I say Grant because the yellow-bellied Southern cowards shot Lincoln from behind. Like all cowards the South hides their real blood lust behind psuedo-genteel bullshit

  • @trchis I agree -- except you dont seem to grasp what was obvious then. The SOuth went to war to SPREAD slavery into the territories. ANd they said so, over and over. Davis said that was the "intolerable grievance" that made them go to war! Toombs shouted "Expand or perish". Their newspapers said they would spread slavery or attack. FUCKN hell. See "Southern Ultimatums -- Lincoln must spread slavery OR THEY WILL ATTACK!. We don't teach this now, it's a dayum shame.

  • @12FlyMe

You sound like a lot like a scum fucking pig. Most Southerners were not slave holders, most Northerners were not abolitionists. Most Americans dreaded the thought of having to free blacks into our communities. We still do in many ways. These people have never been able to do much with themselves.

    Fuck the Union.

  • @ForEuropidKind dumb fuck, most Nazi's weren't Hitler. The Confederate leaders were all - ALL -- slave owners or from slave owning familiies. ALL. DId I mention all. Plus, the fuckers made it illegal to speak or write against slavery, so the population was fed pure bullshit. Learn some history dumb fuck

  • @12FlyMe note also that the confederates wanted to peacefully secede and were invaded by northern troops. Lee never purchased a slaved, he inherited them and set them free BEFORE lincoln who bought his slaves. The north had taxed the south into poverty. Lincoln was trying to acquire central american territory to send the freed slaves to because he didn't believe they could be free here. He also shutdown opposition newspapers, deported a congressman for dissent, and suspended habeus corpus.

  • @the86thcreator - the South did secede, and no one did a thing. Learn the 5 Southern Ultimatums -- issued AFTER the South seceded. These Ultimatums here headlines in Southern papers. AFTER they seceded, they promised war against the US if slavery was not spread. Go see the Ultimatums idiot, they are Southern Ultimatums. When Lincoln would not obey your insane ultimatums, the South attacked, as promised, got your fucking ass kicked. YOu retards have cried about it for 150 years.

  • @12FlyMe "my" ultimatums? I didn't write any ultimatums, prick. They attacked a union fort for being on their sovereign land after the union refused to move. You sir, are fucking retarded, obnoxious, and uneducated. Lincoln was a slave owner and a tyrant. That's all I have to say, please feel free to continue babbling whatever absurd nonsense you're no doubt about to. Fuck off and have a horrible life. PS- die in a fiery crash

  • @the86thcreator Your child raping ancestors, those puke head cowards who ran from battle on their own ground, wrote the ultimatums. SPread slavery or we attack.

Llincoln wasn't about to spread slavery for you child raping baby selling pieces of shit, and when you attacked, he kicked your fucking ass. And you pussies have run hid, lied, made up shit for 150 years.

  • Rebel is right -- google books changes everything.

Now we can see for ourselves the fucking crazy ass punk South's demands to spread slavery. In their OWN fucking papers! In their OWN fucking speeches.

Southern Scum shouted this shit from the rooftops -- spread slavery or face war. Southern leaders BRAGGED about it. Slavery is from GOD and we must spread it world wide! Slavery is the FOUNDATION of our confederacy.

    All from THE SOUTH

  • The Union was preserved at a terrible cost. And now it is on

    the verge of collapse.

"At what point shall we expect the approach of danger? Shall we expect some transatlantic military giant, to step the Ocean, and crush us at a blow? Never!--All the armies of Europe, Asia and Africa combined, could not take a drink from the Mississippi.

If destruction be our lot, we must ourselves be its author and finisher."

    (abridged)

    Abe Lincoln

  • 12FlyMe and SouthernFriedHoney are the same person. He is mentally ill and will only type the same shit. Mark knows nothing about the battles, just the same shit on slavery. He will insult and use profanity which makes him look even more stupid. He has around 50 more screen names and will often argue on the same posts with several different ones. The majority of his friends, are realistically, himself. If he has insulted you, just ignore him, don't feed the troll.

  • commited against civilians. Their were cases of men being strung up by their thumbs or forced to carry knapsacks full of rocks all day for abusing the citizenry: that is, if the man's own fellows didn't fall upon him and whip the tar out of him first. Company-level punishments for bummers and beats was often brutal and creative. Sherman was a hero to his men and afronts to his honor weren't tolerated lightly. They once dismantles a press wagon full of newspapers criticising him.

  • Soldiers of both sides behaved pretty well, or as well as can be expected in war. Sherman's men were under orders not to loot or destroy uneccessarily (which they ignored) and not to harm and civilians (which they obeyed). Under orders to forage liberally, they stole everything that wasn't nailed down and burned almost everything that was, but their violence was directed at property, not people. Sherman was a permissive general, but he came down like the fist of god when he learned of atrocities

  • @Hirosada correct, and there are thousands of documents showing trials for union soldiers who did commit crimes -- and they were punished. War is hell, Sherman said at this time/

If the South didn't want a war, they shouldn't have started one. In fact, the South got off easy. The South literally BURNED TO DEATH slaves who rebelled. Only ONE person was tried after the Civil War, the guy who ran the prison camp. The South burned, whipped, tortured so many, they couldnt keep track

  • Actually, rape was absolutely NOT a feature of Sherman's March. Northern Soldiers behaved surprisingly well, and such crimes were not tolerated by the Union Army. Most of the bad things were done by bummers and AWOL soldiers from both sides.

The key features of Sherman's March were taking foodstuffs and burning property. The idea it was some barbaric orgy of violence and rapine is historically false. It was a controlled military scorched earth policy that did NOT violently target civilians.

  • @Cruiserweight9 Yea, and showing that historically amazing restraint for a victorious conquering army was one fatal mistake that caused all those Neo-Confederate bullshit nowadays. I'm quite sure that even the Rednecks with their intelligence would've had a second thought about going on about South rising again in middle of Philly if they grew up hearing stories of the Grand Army beating the living daylight out of their grandparents instead of "RAWR RAWR STATES RIGHTS HERITAGE" nonsense.

  • I believe that both the South and the Union are beautiful. It doesnt have to be just that one side was right. However, both sides DID bring despair to many peoples, but the majourity of the time they made sure they didnt harm innocents (except for blacks, who are, of course, innocent; they are not evil for being born, so go screw yourself if you believe they are), but they DID treat captured soldiers horribly, especially as there was not enough jail space.

  • @Ph - go learn what the South was about. Read what the SOUTH said at the time. Five Ultimatums, by Southern leaders, google it.

Did you know Lee paid six times his normal bounty to capture one young mulatto girl, who he had tortured, as he screamed at her? Then he sold her infant -- a white looking infant. And he was one of the good ones.

Did you know Lee defended the TORTURE of slaves, even young slave girls, as "ordained by God" and "necessary for their instruction.?

  • Comment removed

  • Oh my gosh the rude comments here! It's just a song...emotions ran high at the time, I guess they still do. No need to cuss people out.

  • long live the confederta! cartman e lee.

  • It's time for the South to raise again, now that the carpetbagger banana communist Republic is about to fall!

    God bless the Confederacy!!

    Fuck the usa

  • I have always sung this song when I have crossed the Georgia line, even back in the 1960s. As George Root penned in another song, "The Union Forever!"

  • In a lot of ways Scotland's history parallels the South. We were forced into a union also....but we still love Wallace, Bruce etc despite the fact that we never won freedom

  • @gleamac There is a difference between Wallace and Lee. Lee tortured children -- did Wallace? Lee paid six times the normal bounty for one young girl on his "Hunting LIst" he kept in his account books, and when they caught her, Lee had her tortured, and screamed at her during the torture.

    Then he sold her baby.

Did Wallace do that? Learn real history. You might be surprised.

  • @SouthernFriedHoney I like music.....can't stand history.

  • Looks like the South learned a lot from the English. They were just as brutal to the Scots and the Irish for many centuries and just in the last 20 years or so are on generally speaking terms. The English were well known to starve and rape their enemies and then for criminals to have their heads stuck on a stick for all to see. The American Indians first suffered this with the English ships coming over. Stupid other white people did the same stupid things if they allowed themselves.

  • Although what Sherman did was rough. He did what needed to be done. If the March to the Sea never took place, that bloody, awful war would have continued for many more months. Personally, I think he is a hero. Although many Southern folks would disagree with me. I think it's better to have a few Confederate farms, factories, military warehouses, and train yards destroyed than to have several thousand more men killed, maimed and wounded.

  • @OW3NS93 Sherman took it easy on the Pussy South. Dont let those fucks tell you otherwise. Hood and his men were HIDING behind the women and children, Sherman was ordering the women and children removed, but Hood was crying like a bitch. When Sherman got the women and children out of the way (Hood didnt want them out of the way) Hood ran like a coward.

  • @OW3NS93 Sherman didnt burn any city down. The Southern Army regularly set fire to their OWN cities, as they did in Richmond, on the way out. Those fires spread.

Sherman should have done what the South did to those who rebelled against it. THe South woudl burn black men to death for rebelling against slavery. The lucky slaves were just killed outright.

Sherman should have given the South a taste of their own justice. These pussies got off easy and stil cry.

  • sherman is hated in the south....he burned south carolina...may he rot in hell along with all you other yankees

  • @cjenn222

If that is God's judgment on those who laid their lives down to destroy the institution of slavery.

  • @cjenn222 wrong jen, you dumb fuck. Sherman finally started to fight in a way the pussy south could understand. But the cities were burned by your own fucking troops. Not Shermans. Just like Lee ordered Richmond set afire as he ran like a pussy. The mayor of Ricmond had to ride out to ASK the Union troops to come in and help put out the fire Lee started.

You fucks are still pussies, you run from the truth like you ran from Sherman.

  • yea u yanks burned everything we are just now recovering....

  • berg1928: Cuz you didn't have slave labor to do all the heavy work.

  • @berg1928 whatever thats suppose to mean

  • @blitzkreig40

I'll never tell. Is blitzkreig supposed to mean something?

  • @berg1928 yea it means lighting war but it was a typo and never changed it

  • @blitzkreig40

Okay, fair enough. Mine is the nickname and year of birth for a famiiy member.

  • @berg1928 Blitzkrieg means literally "Lightning War" in German, the epression grew during Nazi-Germany's usage of this strategy in World War II. It's not a word completely associated with Nazi's such as "Sieg Heil" or similar, but rather the origianal name of a war tactic. The U.S used this strategy in Operation Desertstorm back in -03.

  • And for future reference sir, if you do not maintain a civil tongue with me I am done conversing with you.

  • Sherman SHOULD have given you fucks exactly what you gave out. You fucks are absurdly lucky Sherman was drastically better to you fucks, than you were to those who rebelled against you.

When slaves rebelled, you BURNED THEM TO DEATH. Got that? Sherman destroyed your food stocks, your tools, your impliments that could be used to further the war effort. He should have burned your soldiers to death, then enslaved the rest of you fucks, give you a taste of your own shit.

  • @SouthernFriedHoney Now to the original point -- Sherman. The goal was to break the enemy spirit with hardship. The campaign required that the army sustain itself by pillaging its way through hostile territory due to the short supply line. "War is all hell" is a direct quote, evoking that he had to make it as terrible as possible so it would end quickly, his justification for destroying civilian property and livelihood. I disagree with this. Sherman was also documented to be mentally unstable.

  • @eayrs if you don't want soldiers and war - don't start a fucking war, idiot.

Go read the letters between Sherman and Hood. Sherman should have kicked your ass a lot harder -- you scum deserved it. But he took it easy on you fucks. He should have burned your leaders to death, and made you fucks into slaves. Slavery was from GOD right -- you fucks should have been enslaved like you said God wanted.

Quit yer bitching dumb fuck -- you started it, and you got off easy.

  • @SouthernFriedHoney and we are done.

  • @eayrs There is no we you stupid fuck. There is just the truth. The truth is Lincoln said slave owners should be kicked to death.

Not kicked to unconsciousness -- kicked to DEATH. Then as soon as he could, he kicked the living FUCK out of slavery till you pussies ran like the cowards you always were.

If you don't know SOUTHERN leaders were screaming they had to SPREAD slavery or DIE -- because of the hyperabundance of slaves -- then you don't know shit.

    Learn real history

  • @SouthernFriedHoney No we? Well there is certainly you over there and me over here, and interaction between said parties has come to an end. It's not for truth's sake, but your demeanor -- of which you were previously warned.

  • @eayrs yeah, can't tell the truth about the slave raping, child molesting cowards, the Nazi like oppression and violent Islamic like religious fantatism to support your rape, torture, enslavement, which even Islamic fucks don't do. Can't mention your leader ran away in a dress, and Lee ran like a coward. That isn't politically correct to point out the truth.

To even SAY what you fucks did is considered an affront.

  • @SouthernFriedHoney excellent perception of slavery and the civil war. many have called me a very perceptive person but this day I give the crown to you. excellent job!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @eayrs Who do you think kicked slavery to death? Who kicked you pussies so hard so long, you gave up your nation, your Slave God, your slaves, you ran like cowards, your leaders ran, Davis was caught in a dress, Lee snuck off like a punk to surrender.

The God you fucks believed in so much you tortured, killed, raped, maimed and burned to death in his name, you gave up like a bucket of shit, once Lee surrendered.

    Fucking cowards.

  • Abe Lincoln didn't emancipate the Black slaves in the territories under Union control or the border states: he and the other warmongers weren't worried at all about the sad lot of the Blacks working in the fields nor the White working in the factories. It was just a fight for power and big government and high tariffs. A non-reconstructed Spaniard

  • @whitemaleandproud White stupid fuck -- yes, LIncoln did free those slaves -- as soon as he could. By the 13th Amendment.

Lincoln did all he could under martial law - in areas under martial law dumb fuck.

He could not free slaves in states that were not in rebellion, because they were not under martial law.

But Lincoln did end slavery everywhere -- as soon as he could. In the South, by EP. Then everywhere, by his own personal efforts to pass 13th Amendment

  • @whitemaleandproud

Well, Lincoln DID sign the Emancipation Proclamation, didn't he?

  • The US Army kicked the shit out of the TRAITORS! Rakkasans lead the way!

  • This is fairly disgusting to listen to when you take into the context how despicable Sherman's "March to the Sea" campaign was. Mr. Ungar says it was lamented because it was a turning point in the war. That's quite an understatement, as if Georgians thought "shucks now we know we're going to lose" and never got over it. The real reason the song is despised is that it exalts a campaign that left a trail of arsen, famine, and rape. He didn't say "make Georgia howl" for nothing.

  • @eayrs wrong dumb fuck -- Sherman took it easy on you fucks,

Sherman should have given you fucks "Southern Justice" and burned your fighters to death, tortured your women, and molested and sold your infants, He should have taken every bit of land and wealth from you, and made you slaves.

Because that is what you fucks did to others.

  • @SouthernFriedHoney I didn't do anything to anybody so you need to step back. I am not even a southerner but I understand historical context. Why does Sherman pop out and engender so much rancor if he was so benevolent? The only other campaigns that even come remotely close are Sheridan's in the Shenandoah and Butler's occupation of New Orleans. Do you feel it wise to ignore accepted history as to Sherman's objective, regardless of a letter he wrote, and just call any dissentor a dumb fuck?

  • @eayrs The South hates Sherman because he kicked their fucking ass. Any notion of Southern bravery is diminished by one person -- Sherman. As Shelby Foote said, with Sherman, the Union finally fought with both hands -- not one tied behind it'\s back.

Look at the treatment the South gave to those tho rebelled against it - slaves. They burned them to death. Yet the South has whined for 150 years about Sherman treating them far far far better than they deserved.

  • @eayrs I like history, I'm telling you what it is. The Sherman - Hood letters show what a cry baby pussy Hood had become, how he hid among the children and women.

My my -- but the South sure could torture women, molest children, burn men to death, and try to expand their slavery shit. But when someone stood up to those pussies, they have cried about it for 150 years, with no sign of stopping for another 150 years.

Funny how these same fucks say blacks should get over slavery.

  • @SouthernFriedHoney It's not a matter of getting over it. It's a matter of understanding the context and therefore poor taste this song has for some, in the same way that some would protest a confederate flag flying over the SC capitol. It is true that many atrocities occured in the name of slavery. It is probably better if everyone got over it. Many have forgiven but not forgotten. As distant as they may seem, touchy subjects of a bygone era should still not be flaunted. It feels wrong.

  • @eayrs Well since the Southern Myth has twisted so far that Lee and Davis were against slavery, but Lincoln was the despot.

SO slave raping child molesting scum who stopped free speech and press for WHITES from 1820 on, they are held out as freedom fighters, when their main goal was to SPREAD slavery. Lincoln, who dared to stand up to these fucks, is said to be Hitler, and your shit head idea is -- get over the Civil War.

HOw about you get over your ass and shove your dick up it?

  • @SouthernFriedHoney I don't really see your point. I reply to your thoughts on getting over atrocities committed by (I assume you are talking about) overseers, slaveholder, auctioneers, transporters, etc. Then you call it my 'shithead idea' about getting over the entire war. So be a rapist and child molester is a matter of one's geography and social ideology to you? It's an affliction to the southern portion of the continent. It sounds a bit absurd.

  • @eayrs The principles of states rights were severely tested in time of war, and yes there were skirmishes in places such as Colorado and New Mexico where the Confederate raiders hoped to gain tactical advantage. It was not about spreading slavery. That was a social issue that had been going on for years in places like 'Bleeding Kansas' where violence had gone one for years devoid of a declaration of war and a Confederate government.

  • @eayrs Now on the other hand there are instances of Federal expansion and occupation. At Lincoln's orders the writ of Habeas Corpus was suspended and the state of Kentucky was preemptively invaded without provocation to keep it from seceding. Now to your point about Lincoln's intent. He stood up insomuch as he kept troops in Sumter to provoke war, and galvanized Virginia, Tennessee, and others against him by calling for 75,000 troops that would surely be invading their respective states.

  • @eayrs As for Lincoln's stance on slavery, it is accepted history that he did not want to stop slavery, but just the spread of it. One must only look at his transcripts to see that he saw negroes as inferior to the white. This is not a condemnation and must be taken in context. At the time this was a belief shared by most people North, South, East, and West. When war came his priority was to save the Union. The Emancipation Proclamation was a political means to that end.

  • @eayrs Nonsense idiot, go read his full speeches you stupid fuck, not the edited partial quotes you fucks take out of context. He wanted FIRST to stop the spread you stupid fuck, BECAUSE stopping the spread would kill you fucks in the South. SLavery was choking you dumb fucks to death -- the South said do. Expand or Perish said Toombs.

If you don't know that basid fact, you don't know shit. Plus, Lincoln said slave owners should be KICKED to death. Got that retard?

  • @SouthernFriedHoney Now about Lee, it is well accepted by biographers and in documentaries that he disapproved of slavery, but defended it when given the choice between the country and his native state of Virginia. As for Davis, many in the C.S.A. such as V.P. Stephens wanted to found the new nation on the premise that the negro was not equal to the white man, while Davis disapproved of it. He kept the focus on liberation from the tyranny of the North.

  • @SouthernFriedHoney The misconception was never really whether Davis was or was not against slavery. He supported it, but with the consent of the confederation of states that supported it. The C.S.A. was not this expansionist empire intent on spreading slavery as you imply. It was predicated upon the idea that no overseeing central government has the right to say what is best for one of the states. So there would not a scenario where the Confederacy would force other states to join.....

  • @SouthernFriedHoney It's AMAZING that these Neo Confederates like to attack Sherman and this song but conveniently forget about William Quantrill, Laurence Kansas and the James, Younger gang that sprang from Quantrill's Raiders robbing and murdering until the so called "dirty little coward" Bob Ford backshot the leader of that gang like the dirty little murdering, arsonist, robbing little skunk that he was.

  • Blue coat and yellow belly. The death of anything good in this country started with the Yankee scumdog victory.

  • @helvegr9 The death of slavery was a victory for all compassionate God fearing human beings.

  • @teddysalad65 The only reason stink'n Lincoln wanted the slaves free is so he could send them back to Africa. When slave are free they are no longer property and you are free to rid the country of them.

  • The UNION FOREVER....God Save The USA!

  • @USAsoldier1955 You're probaby of German distraction. Slavery never made sense to anyone especillay after it had ended. Germans never had slaves. The were more equitable in their thinking. England on the other hand was a force to be feared at this time as their big wave of economic victory was in the 19 century but they ended the slave trade in England in 1801 IN THE COURTS by their law! We on the other hand had Abe to get us into this bloody war!

  • and to continue my heartfelt rant.....Should it have taken 600,000 men to be killed to do the same thing? Looks like a court could have quelled the storm. Sending 70,000 troops at the onset? This was an insult and had the south looking instantly like they never belonged. The north had their slaves as well. When the slaves were freed did they find love in the north? No, and they still don't, not unless they have good money which the north made it hard for them to make for a good while.

  • @kimfort You are one stupid fuck. The South is responsible for every death you retard, not the North. And 600,000 is just the start -- they also killed hundreds of thousands of slaves, besides the routine torture and rape and enslavement of millions.

Got that you stupid fuck? SO what if there were bad people in the North. So the fuck what. There are bad people in China retard, does that mean you fucks in the South can enslave, torture, rape, ect?

  • @SouthernFriedHoney Why the name SouthernFriedHoney? Could you be in the closet loving the South? Look I'm from the "North". Great people there and not so great like anywhere else. This is 2010. The memory remains because of the war and slavery. Why is England so far ahead of this on this horrible thing? I won't responnd again since it looks like you can't get beyond a four letter word. Good work on you "Old English". You're not really making your point. Not really.
