This game is awesome, there are tons of references from other games, a lot of stereotypes found in 80-90s RPGS, and a fun combat system. And to top it all off there is controller support. This game is amazing.

If you're on the edge about buying this game, it's one dollar. If you can't spare one dollar, go disconnect your internet and you'll save plenty.

Amazing game i got it on the pc with cathulhu saves the world. Great 16 bit graphics. Fighting reminds me of other great titles and lots of humor in both cathulhu saves the world and Breath of Death 7. But i kinda want to know how breath of death got its name.

Awesome game--I enjoyed it thoroughly. I always play low-res RPG classics using emulators on PC and BoD VII: TB was literally made for people like me. 10/10

From what I see this has an absolutely garbage combat system. It doesn't look like you put any polish into it at all. Spend 2 more days and actually care about the quality of your game. you might as well makes the combat system text only for fucks sake.

This is a game available for $1 on Xbox Live Indie Games. It's an 8-bit style retro RPG that is a parody of the RPG genre. The gameplay is traditional but with modern twists and amenities to keep it fresh and interesting. It's more like Dragon Quest in style than Breath of Fire.

You need to look in the Xbox Live Marketplace, there is a section called Indie Games. You can find it and Cthulhu Saves the World in the Top Rated lists, or you can go to the RPG sub section. XBox Live Indie Games is not available in all regions of the world though.

Not counting the music (all of the music is licensed from various indie game composers), only 2 people are working on the game. Robert Boyd (aka myself) is doing the programming, story, and gameplay design. William Stiernberg is doing the visuals, animation, and map designs.
