Very nice control in those conditions, My Gemini Flash Alpa is very twitchy in that sort of thermal soup and with the thin air that goes with it certainly brings the skills and thrills that these wonderful flying machines bring.

The one in this video, an Air Creation Tanarg, yes. Can't say exactly how much but I reckon about £25-30k new, although I know of one going for £20k. It's possible to get older aircraft for as little as £2k though. This is in the UK

The only good thing about turbulence not caused by wind is that it usually stops close to the ground.(Bounce bounce bounce,ahh that feels better).
