As a rather tan filipina myself, not only am i proud of my skin tone, but see the beauty of all colors as well. We all have our strengths and unique features, so why not play them rather than change or hide them!!

you should be happy with your skin colour. a nice clean and clear complexion that has an even tone is what we should aim for and be happy with the colour we were born with... Bleaching your skin or burning your skin, in the case of tanners, is soooo unhealthy.

Its the mind set thats was left in the minds of the Natives of the land and was passed down threw they generation that of a white standard of beauty. I am mexican and I see it when I go to mexico they step upon the people who look indigenous and worship the ones that look white or are the decedent of the spaniards so i can understand why this is going on.
