  • Where do you get mad from? I'm just saying I don't think you know what you are talking about. Most people who know anything about knife design (even those who do not care for the looks) agree Spyderco blades perform well. I also very clearly said you are entitled to your opinion. Just don't say something is wrong when the opposite has been proven true. Maybe you just don't speak English well. There is a diference from what I said & opinion.

  • I have always wonderd why spyderco doesnt do there holes like the holes on this knife.... they just lazer cut them out and a slight polish.... the holes on this knife are cut out then cut again to make them realy smooth.

  • @DJJimCowley The right angle hole has better grip then smoothed out one. But hey, i hate spyderco anyway. Their blade shape is so wrong :X

  • @newtubetubetube Well then you are clueless. I would have no problem if you dislike Spyderco for personal taste reasons. That is your prerogative. I also apologize if that is what you meant but to say their blade shape is "so wrong" indicates you have no idea what you are talking about. They have some of the most functional blade designs out there. Sal Glesser put a lot of thought into them and puts performance over style. I have 30 years use with blades and they are about my favorite.

  • @newcoyote You get mad because i have a opinion then the proceed stating a opinion of your own. Retarded much? LOL. Fuck off.

  • @newtubetubetube Well even after I took care to explain to you the difference between opinion and consensus, it still went over your head. I got mad? I'm retarded? Grow up. Thank you for confirming you are indeed an idiot so succinctly.

  • @newtubetubetube Oh yeah. I looked at your channel comments. Seems you get a lot of hate mail. Indicative of a standard troll.

  • @newcoyote Nope it is indicated of someone that don't care and don't spend time deleting hateful comment. You see, i am not very concerned about apparency and other superficial stuff. Feel free to write something, i am collecting asshole's comments.

Also, you fail to distracted me about the non-sense you wrote before. Please explain why you are mad because i stated an opinion and then proceed to tell your own opinion?

  • @DJJimCowley more grip especially when wearing gloves ... the smoother the holes are the more difficult it would be to open it with gloves one ...

  • benchmde sucks balls not

    .

  • I have 2 skirmishes . Any knife that I really like I buy 2 of . I have 2 Benchmade Pinnicles also which look a lot like the Chris Reeves Sebenza . It is now discontinued . I know that Chris Reeve hated this knife because it looked so similer to his Sebenza . Benchmade knives are one of the consistantly better made knives . I call them semi-custom .

  • That's a nice finish

  • I got this knife of ebay but i think it is a fake because its number is the tanto griptillians and the blade is chiped from hitting the bar when closing it and the colour is alot darker

  • @THEHUNTER096 : Comes in different colors. But that sucks. Did you find anything else out?

  • love your reviews... beats nutnfancy any day imo.

  • i love your videos

  • What the government is doing is that they are turning citizens into criminals we are going to carry our knives anyways if you are from las vegas nevada contact me so we can organize a peace full protest or violent riot but we have to learn from the potheads mistakes they are takng evry thing away guns weed knives stop them

  • Are you too good for punctuation?

  • hahahaha

  • this guy talks more about the look and feel.

    nutnfancy talks about actual function.

different reviews for different people :)

  • no such thing

  • better like the butterfly knife :D

  • nice knife

  • These are now discontinued. Get one while you can!

  • nice, watch my knive videos

  • Sweet knife, very, very closely approaching the quality and smoothness as a Sebenza. These are in between the size of a Small and Large Sebenza. Do not hesitate if you were thinking of buying one. Good review too!

  • I got mine for $17. I was the only one that bid on it!

  • I think this will be my next knife. I really like the larger one but I have small hands and its a pain to open quickly.

  • So did you get it?

Mini Skirmish doesn't open very nice or quickly, I wish it had thumb studs.

The large one it's a monster, no way will carry that.

  • I have not yet. Still not sure about it.

I agree that the larger one would not be something I would carry.

  • I know how it is, I want so many knives it's hard to choose.

But i wouldn't mind another mini Skirmish with black combo blade for sure.

  • Nice page, I just subscribed.

  • I am extremely suprised that they dont have PB washers......are you sure that they are Nytrolon??

  • They are not PB. if you put some glue in the screw and tighten it just right you will have no blade play. Or you can put bigger PB washers.

  • one hand operation very difficult on big knife, big hole misplaced, liner lock difficult to thumb over without using two hands. it's a sweet knife once you get it open

  • nice benchmade

  • well to my supprise my benchmade mini skirmish has no neal blackwood stamp on the back. do you know if benchmade stoped putting it on cuz i just got it yesterday. or do you think it is a counterfit?

  • i dont think that the mini was made by him i think benchmade just made a smaller design

  • I recently purchased one and mine does have the blackwood stamp on the back, odd that yours doesnt, does yours have the s30v stamp on the back

  • Hi,

What are the washers made off?

  • Hi John,

i'm pretty sure now that they are made of nitrolon plastic, teflon or nylon. :)

Which color do the washers have?

    Regards,

    Julian

  • Hi,

They are black, teflon i think, the moving of the blade is very very smooth and absolutely no plade play.

  • Hi, black ones should be nitrolon plastic. They are more durable than nylon :)

    Regards,

    Julian

  • 58-60 Rockwell is "pretty decent"? Hah.

Looks like a pretty sweet knife though, me want.

  • You should know the handle really is small, the blade is big enough, allmost as big as Military's, for EDC is just perfect, sheeple friendy, easy to carry, fits even in some jeans fifth pocket, titanium is just sweet.

    the knife is extremely smooth

S30V is good steel, hard to sharpen i'm affraid, at least for me:)

    take care,

    john

  • really like the handle on that knife.

  • Thanks for the review! I own a Benchmade 630 myself (check out my videos) and I'm thinking about buying the mini skirmish too.

  • I have the mini-rukus which is also designed by Blackwood and i love it. I was looking at the mini-skirmish when i bought it but i prefered the combonation of the G-10 and the micarta as well as the non recurve blade on the mini-rukus. That is definately on my to-buy list though. Great review.

  • I don't like the small holes and the price but it's a nice folder.

  • After a second look, it's a great knife. Now i want one :)

    Thanks for the review.

  • Also have a look at the limited Mini Skirmishes (635-501, -502, -503). They come with the nice typical Skirmish Design (not the "twirl design") :)

    Regards,

    Julian

  • Nice review. I handled one the other day but didn't fit my hand very well. I'm glad I handled one first because I was thiiiiis close to buying one online. Thanks for sharing!!

  • I had one, didnt like the ergos, too small for me, and i feel g-10 is better in that regard.

    BM 710BK !!!

  • My new favorite blade.

    that and the ZT0200

  • Beautiful!
