I was at the apple store yesterday. I'm getting an imac 20 inch for christmas!!!! :)

What i learned is that the imac looks SOOO much better in person. AND that the 24 inch is way to big! I actually walked in and looked at the 20 inch imac first and thought... "Nah thats gotta be the 24 inch!" Until i looked at the mammoth across the room! Way to big for me.. especially when im coming from a 17 inch screen! The 20 inch is awesome!!!

Actually I got an iMac at Best Buy on Sunday and like you, I was amazed that the 24" model is way too big for my eyes, but we decided to buy it instead because it had more storage and a faster processor. Now it's Thursday and I am so used to the 24" that when I go to the 17" PC's at school it's too small for me!

You'll really get used to the 24" model over the 20". I highly recommend the 24".
