I noticed that most of the streetlighting along the way looks like LED, Light Emitting Diodes. Could that be what it is? Only very little streetlighting looked like High Pressure Sodium.

@arian50 I really don't do that much driving, this was part of one 6 day trip I did over the summer, that was it for 2011. Yes it is expensive but I try to make the most of the time I get to be out on the road.
