  • he didnt get behind the wheel.

  • He should shine the tire 2

  • you sure know how to clean those rims ..thanks

  • if you maintain your car's exterior and interior at least once a month, you will not have such severe buildup - therefore, you won't need to use abrasive brushes or chemicals. aside form a good tire dressing for tires, they best way to polish chrome wheels (after washing with soap and water) is a chamois cloth or papertowel and some good ol' elbow grease. you may find that if you use a 'polish' that your rims get grimier faster - that's because the polish residue acts as a substrate for dirt.

  • aside from removing dirt, cleaning your rims doesn't involve applying anything to them - the cleanest you will ever get your wheels is to a point where there is no cleaner/polish on them and just pure chrome: nothing else.

  • the best point ever...! pro!

  • I would agree, but what happened to rinsing.. APC chemicals will discolor unless they're rinsed with at least a quick detailer or waterless wash, let alone just a simple water rinse..

  • never use acid based cleaners on wheels, over time they damage the alloys.

  • just use baking soda and old toothbrush.commercial cleaners are harsh chemicals.save the environment and save your pocketbook.

  • Thank you Mr. Frugal Detailer!

  • i use baking soda disolved in some warm water, in a spray bottle works beter than an acid

  • i'll try that thanks

  • @utubeb14 better then the top wheel cleaning brand!!?????

  • @MrHLEON2 well better than any brands i have used, also safer.

  • @utubeb14 Please give me more tips how to maintain the cars look ^^

  • I usually start by cleaning with a regular car soap, then i use a degreasing solution to remove all the stain from the brakes and then i use a light polish solution to really remove the stain and dirt. Than I polish it and it looks better than brand new

  • I've seen worse how-to videos on this subject, but you should really use a good wheel acid cleaner like Meguiars Hot Rims. You also NEED a pressure washer to remove a lot of the dirt and brake dust. I use tooth brushes to clean the really stuborn spots. Just not on chrome because it could scratch.
