  • Don't we all wish he had only spent what he promised!

  • They could drop the Capital Gains Tax 2% and give everybody a check from the stimulus of about $500 bucks and the psychological effect would "prime the pump" as Keynesian philosophy fails to. They just keep pushing for Socialized Health Care and abandon the economy. What gives? Why are democrats ignoring the people of America? It seems to me (and the republicans have been doing this to us too), the representatives in Washington including the chief ex. have got it coming to them in 2010 & 2012.

  • Comrade Obama commits $100 Million up front for Haiti ... which will turn into Billions in the long run... China only donated $4 Million .. Wondering if Obama even bothers to ask China if they're willing to extend our debt limit before he ties yet another generation of our children to his debt.

  • obama needs to be more niggardly with his spending. He is simply acting like a crackhead with $100 bucks in a crack buffet.

  • yea just if he says that only those with incomes over 250,000 will see tax increases does not mean that they will have to pay for a significant part of the budget in its entirety

    honestly thats just rediculous

  • Obama is dangerous for America.

Pg 30 Sec 123 of HC bill - THERE WILL BE A GOVT COMMITTEE that decides what treatments/benes u get

  • Congress, the Senate and Obama simply are unqualified and incompetent! Tax and spend, why not let the American people spend their own hard earned money! Government need's to stay out of it! The world would be a better place! What is this teaching our children and grandchildren?

  • global anti poverty 65 billion

job creation 3.5 billion LOL!!!! stupid nigger! what happen to that being his priority im sick of politicians there all just out to get rich and run the show

  • Why does Obama constantly say he inherited the problems when he ran for president saying he was the man to fix these same problems?? What a weasel.

  • Because Obama doesn't have the balls to admit it is all his fault!

  • Whoever thinks this is Bush and the Republicans' fault, you either have ADD, ADHD, watches too much MSNBC, or all of the above.

  • i think the bigger picture is that he hasn't been in office for even ONE YEAR and hes already spent trillions of dollars. he spent half of what he was projected to spend in less than a year, let alone one full term.

  • In the interest of fairness, the numbers here are all wrong. They're only half the rates stated here. I have several videos detailing the difference.

  • Well, it's an old video, based on numbers released months ago. In fairness, Obama's TOTAL spending is actually far worse than most expected, even if a few itemss in the video are overstated. He would never have been elected had he sadi, "I promise to have a $1.4 trillion deficit!" - or whatever the final deficit number will be.

  • True, and I guess anyone would have hidden this fact, and still most would have racked up a debt that big. Everyone but Ron Paul and myself, Robert Carlisle.

I've responded to this video with another stance on economic principles in this country. Let me know what you think.

    -Robert Carlisle

  • Yes, isn't it terrible that Obama spends money to improve the infrastructure of the United States? We need to pump more trillions into Iraq and other deserving countries where the money will be put to good use. I can't stand the thought of better US healthcare when there are roads that need paving in Baghdad.

  • I did not say we should spend billions in Iraq. I hope you are also critical of the tens of billions Obama is wasting in Afghanistan, and the troop deaths we will suffer because of his ill-advised "plan." (Where is Obama's "exit strategy?")

Priivate industry can build what we need. We do not need governments wasting billions on sports stadiums. If we needed it, we would have built it already - more effeiciently and with private funds.

  • I'm not critical of Obama needing to do a mop-up job of the mess Bush got us into.

I voted for Bush twice, so the comments I make aren't from a "staunch liberal" point of view. Upon reflection, I saw 8 years of money being pumped into other nations and their problems while our own economy crumbled. I've ALREADY seen positive changes with Obama's plans, but the sad fact is, republicans are bent on destroying him before his first year is over. It's sickening.

  • There's nothing to mop up in Afghanistan, just get out before we lose thousands of soldiers.

"Positive changes?" I haven't seen one.

And it's sickening that Republicans are bent on destroying Obama? I don't recall Democrats and the media being anything but vicious toward Bush - except for a few days after 9/11.

The reality is that many of us want to destroy Obama before he destroy the U.S. Get used to it... the fight will continue.

  • You don't see positive changes because you're like every other republican, filled with one-sided hatred. There are too many dittoheads afoot. Most republicans parrot Rush Limbaugh and don't think for themselves.

Republicans are DEEPLY embarrassed by the Bush administration. They NEED to come out with their guns blazing against Obama to save their party.

What would you have liked the dems to do for Bush, say the war in Iraq was "going well" and our economy was "just peachy"?

  • I am not a Republican. I don't want them spending money we don't have either. I believe in liberty and the smallest government possible. I believe that producers should not be forced at gunpoint to provide ofr parasites - regardless of what party the parasites belong to.

I am not filled with one-sided hatred. I hate many things: hypocrisy, bigotry, white racists, black racists, socialism, communsion, fascism, bureaucrats who waste tax dollars, child molesters, and Obama's incompetence.

  • What about a Conservitive? I guess I need to be locked up in a concentration camp then? There is so much Propaganda put out by the Media these days (mostly the Libs control the Media).

  • yes, hyperinflation is correct is the correct spelling. six months the u.s.d. will be worth 0. We need to go to the gold standard like Russia did

  • obama has spent more $ in 73 days in office than all the president from George Washington to George Bush jr combined.

  • And when the money he is printing makes its way into the economy, we will have inflation that makes us remember Jimmy Carter with fondness.

    Can you spell:

    H-Y-P-E-R-I-N-F-L-A-T-I-O-N?

    It will not be pretty...

  • I think you forgot about the trillions and trillions Bush spent in Iraq. Republicans conveniently pretend that that's "something different."

  • One can certainly argue about whether it was wise for Bush to have wasted lives and money in Iraq or for Obama to now waste lives and money in Afghanistan.

Nevertheless, the defense of the United States is the federal government's MAIN priority. Building Olympic stadiums should not be done with taxpayer funds. If you want one, pay for it yourself.

  • that was his spending plan beFORE the recession got into full swing. Now they need to add another $3 trillion to that

  • Because the government hasn't got the money to pay its bills, it has four choices:

    1. Tax the hell out of everyone (but there isn't enough income to pay the bills).

    2. Raise interest rates to attract foreign buyers for federal bonds.

    3. Print money.

    4. A combination of the above three.

Say hello to hyperinflation before long. And THAT will be Obama's downfall, even if he can persuade people to accept socialized medicine and all his other lunatic policies.

  • All the US Presidents have been failling since Ronald Reagan. Reagan was the last President that overhauled the income tax code, which eliminated many deductions and exempted millions of people with low incomes. At the end of his administration, the Nation was enjoying its longest recorded period of peacetime prosperity without recession or depression. Ronald Reagan spoke for the American people. He appealed to your best hopes, not your worst fears. Not like this new moron we have.

  • Obama wants us to be a socialist country. Tax cuts worked in the 80's. Socialism does not work, yet they keep pushing for it. He is pushing all this through so quickly. This is the change he promised. I am very sad with all of our leaders today and there is nothing I can do about it.

  • If you can afford it, do what I did. Last year I retired early. Not yet on Social Security, getting a tiny pension, but taxes down to almost nothing. I'm learning to live with 80% less income. It is not easy, but Obama's getting next to no taxes from me. No health insurance, hope I stay healthy. If I get sick, let those generous liberals pay for my care. Screw them all. I moved to Galt's Gulch. (That's a reference to Ayn Rand's great novel, "Atlas Shrugged.")

  • I felt the squeeze when I was laid off from my job in 2004. I have been doing jobe that I am way over qualified for like driving 18 wheeler and going to school. I am living on 70% less now. I saw the painting on the wall back in 2001. Obama is finishing the job and will make sure that America falls hard. I am glad I don't have kids. I can't afford to invest so I have not lost any money in the market.

  • I Agree with All of that I thing they Should impeach Barack H. Obama before it's to late or we all will hurt really bad so far he is the worst president. IMPEACH HIM

  • Aw, Obama is punished enough - look what he has to go to bed with every night!

  • Obama's first deficit will be greater than the last four Bush deficits combined! After four years in office, the Obama-Pelosi-reid triumvirate (the "axis of OPRah") will have racked up over $6 triilion in new debt! That's only about $20,000 for every man, woman, and child in the U.S. But most of them don't pay taxes, so that leaves about $100,000 owed by each of who do!

  • Obama in his first 30 days spent more money than anyone in history. He is killing America. At this rate we will never get out of debt. Good job Obama. Change we can believe in. I call for impeachment now before it is too late.

  • Vote the Democrats out of office in November, 2010, and shove conservative legislation down Obama's throat. Repeal his spending, close the Department of Education, cancel money to ACORN, etc. With enough conservative legislators they can override every Obama veto. Make the thug irrelevant.

  • Unfortunatley we need rich people. Thats why the charities and people who give money have gone down. No one wants to or has the money to give to charity. So that creates more dependence on the government.

  • Lets spend our way out of debt by spending more money we don't have.

Isn't that like me owing $5000 on a credit card, then going out and charging $5000 more?

Liberalism truly is a mental disorder.

  • More or less, except that the Dems want to spend $819,000,000,000.00 more!

Oh, wait, that was the House. The Senate version is up to $924 billion.

    Just remember this simple rule:

    Deficit-spending by Republicans = bad

Stimulus package by Democrats = good

...even though they are the exact same thing.

  • What are you talking about it was the Bush tax cuts arwe what got us out of the first recession after 911. They do work, because it gives more money in the pockets of businesses then they have more money to pay their employees and do whatever. What Obama is doing he's creating more dependence on the govt so he can spend anything he wants. One way or another this money has to get paid and who's gonna pay it. The federal govt is not a making money thing. Their money comes from us.

  • It's the failed tax cuts of the republicans that we'll be paying for froever, tax cuts don't work and Obama doesn't need to go along with them to get along.

  • Tax cuts work IF accompanied by spending cuts. Neither Republicans nor Democrats will cut spending; Libertarians will.

The Republicans screwed up by spending, every year, $350 billion more than the feds have. Obama make things even worse by spending, every year, one TRILLION more than it has!

Replacing idiots with greater idiots does not solve the problems.

    WE NEED TERM LIMITS!

  • The democrats spend even more money then the republicans.

  • "It's the failed tax cuts of the republicans that we'll be paying for froever, tax cuts don't work and Obama doesn't need to go along with them to get along."

We don't buy tax cuts; don't let the government deceive you.

  • Not true the tax cuts did work. The republicans spent money yes but no where near what the Democrats spent.

  • "Not true the tax cuts did work. The republicans spent money yes but no where near what the Democrats spent."

I didn't say tax cuts don't work, but they are not really tax cuts. They are redistribution of wealth.

  • No they are not. What obamas stimulus package is thats socialism. The tax cuts worked cause they put more money in the hands of PRIVATE business owners more moeny in the pockets of the PEOPLE. This is how capitalism works and yes it does work. The bush tax cuts worked they got us out of a recession. By the way recessions are normal they happen all the time when the economy goes up it comes down. Obama is just making this one seem so bad so he can spend any amount of money he wants.

  • Umm I agree with you. I don't think we are talking about the same tax cuts lol. When the government rase taxes on the rich to give tax cuts to the middle class, most likely overall taxes are being raised by raising taxes on the rich. So, there really are no tax cuts. That's all I was saying

Btw, even if Obama does give tax cuts to the middle class, over all taxes will be raised by ending the Bush tax cuts! I have information on it on my blog at myspace /nothingwilldie if you care to see.

  • A point to add, the problem is he claims tax cuts for the middleclass, but Obama is lowering the maximum that middleclass can claim on our deductions and is raising taxes on capital gains. He is not cutting taxes, but raising them. Bush tax cuts will remain on Income tax but he is raising everything else. Not good when we are in a recession. I hate to say it but I think it is too late. I really did try to warn those voting for him, but they refused to listen. I am sad for America.

  • Tax cuts work-give more money to the people and they have more money to spend. Raise taxes, and people spend less money-it's simple economics, but then again if Demoncraps cared about facts Barry Hussein would have been blown out early in the primaries.

  • Hey, Obama, if your spending plan includes things like proposing $3 million for an overhead projector system, sorry, I'm not interested. ;)

  • The question facing Obama is do you spend money to stave off a depression or do you let the chips fall and then end up having to spend even more to fix it. If government's sole purpose is national security, aren't economic, physical, and environmental health matters of national security? Certainly energy independence is. Private industry has proven countless times that it cannot be trusted to do what is best for the country.

  • You let the chips fall where they may. It costs less in the long run and the recession ends more quickly. And it lets the free market decide who the winners and losers are - rather than government bureaucrats.

If it were up to the government, we wouldn't even have an auto industry because it would have outlawed cars to protect the horse and buggy industry.

The worst cases of abuses in private industry are where the government has been involved. The feds protect the losers, not the winners.

  • Ha ha. I think we would be better off if we still had a horse and buggy industry. But, seriously, I agree the US auto industry needs to die a natural death. So if you end up with a 30's type depression, you still have to take measure to keep people from starving. I guess $700 billion buys a lot of food.

  • I really disagree with your last statement however. Industry left to it's own devices has a horrible record. You may not have been around in the 60's when rivers caught on fire because of the waste being dumped into them. The problem is government and industry are too cozy.

  • My point is that the worst abuses of business are a result of illegal government "deals" with businessmen. Businessmen who bribe government for special favors are NOT capitalists - they are criminals.

Don't blame capitalism for abuses by government officials. For example, your cable TV bill is high only because the local government has given that provider a monopoly - shielding it from competetion. Allow competition and the prices drop.

  • You can't give $700 billion to one group without first taking it from another group... that's where jobs will be destroyed.

The media will show the high-paid union bridge builder who thanks Obama for his new job, but they won't bother to look for the two non-union jobs detroyed to create the one new union jobs.

That's why the unions donated millions to Obama's campaign...

  • Well what has clearly been happening under the Bush administration is that our children's future has been mortgaged to enrich corporate interests. Government should stand between industry and unbridled greed but its in bed with industry. I say do away with lobbyists.

  • I won't defend Bush and the last six years of rampant federal spending (by both parties). Bush should have vetoed the spending bills and made public pleas for sanity.

But replacing hundreds of big-spending idiots with hundreds of bigger-spending idiots won't help. Obama is set to go a a lunatic spending spree that will add more trillions of debt. BOTH parties have been adding to the national debt for over 75 years. It will only stop with term limits, and those in power will never allow that.

  • Both Reagan and Bush ran up huge deficits, much more than any recent democratic administrations. The bottom line for me is that if money is going to be spent let's invest it in healthcare, education, other domestic programs, programs that bring a return to the tax payer.

  • Yes, and Reagan and Bush were both wrong for letting that happen. More to blame were the Congressmen from both parties who wrote the spending bills for those Presidents to sign - which they should have vetoed.

But their errors should not justify the next Congress and President from digging us into an even deeper spending hole - which is exactly what Obama, Pelosi, and Reid will do.

EVERY President since perhaps Coolidge has run up massive deficits.

Vote Libertarian and save the nation.

  • Reagan was right for hiking those deficits. He chose to strengthen the military rather than balance the FG's budgets, yet he was certainly a great president.

  • Reagan could easily have paid for the defense build-up by cutting everywhere else. He should have done so, but he didn't. (Of course, the Dems in Congress wouldn't let him. He planned on totally eliminating the Department of Education, which was a good idea that got nowhere because of union support of Democrat politicians.)

  • Yeah, and look what happened when the Republicans controlled the entire Fed government. They teamed up with Ted Kennedy to commit the most intrusive centralisation of education in American history (the NCLB Act), increased the ED's budget, and named the ED's building after LBJ.

  • President Reagan did not allow that to happen (except defence budgets, which we'd agree that were needed). It happened over his objections. He vetoed dozens of acts, but most of his vetoes were, AFAIC, overriden.

  • For instance, money spent on education in general, and drug education and treatment in particular, can save money that otherwise is spent on law enforcement and prisons. Preventative healthcare can save millions. Obama's plan to fix our crumbling highway and power infrastructure makes sense. At least we are getting something for our tax dollars. These bailouts I'm not so hot on.

  • The problem is that Obama DOES NOT HAVE THE MONEY. To spend $850 billion on "projects" requires taking it from taxpayers (which will cause unemployment in areas where he is not spending money), OR printing money (which means incredible inflation).

There's no such thing as a free lunch - from 2001-2006 the Republicans spent money they didn't have amd caused tremendous problems. The Democrats then started spending recklessly in 2007. If Obama now spends more, he'll just cause larger problems.

  • The sad thing is that while we spent billions in Iraq our own infrastructure has been crumbling. Roads and bridges, many built in the 1950's - 60's are in terrible shape. I think money should be diverted from defense to domestic use. Enough of this corporate welfare. Bottom line is the taxpayers are going to have to step up to the plate if they want the lifestyle they are used to, good schools, good roads etc.

  • I cannot emphasize enough how important it is that we start spending money wisely. Terrorism needs to be viewed as a law enforcement problem and we need to cooperate with our allies in eradicating it. This go it alone approach is neither effective nor cost effective. We are giving a handful of terrorists too much power over us and our country's agenda. In addition, Obama needs to veto the pork barrel projects.

  • Don, would you try someday to compile a complete list of all the federal programs that you think should be eliminated? I'd be interested to know what programs besides the ED you would like to see abolished. I might compile a similar list myself.

  • That's something I should think about...

In the meantime, it's probably easier to list the few functions of government I would keep: Defense Department, FBI, CIA, Secret Service, Supreme Court, prisons, State Department, Commerce Department (only for limited taxes on imported goods, to fully eliminate the income tax and the IRS)... and that's about all. The rest can all be done at a state or local level (or by private citizens, without government interference).

  • I would like to see us go to a flat tax. The beauty of it is, that not only EVERY American citizen pays tax, but also non-citizens (foreigners and especially ILLEGALS) that come to our country.

  • Eliminate federal income tax. Have a national sales tax. No one could escape it. Because everyone pays it equally, everyone would oppose raising it - thus limiting the federal government's spending. Pass term limits and a Constitutional Amendment outlawing deficit spending except in cases of declared war.

If everyone paid the same tax, everyone would hate it and want it as low as possible, and the Democrats wouldn't be able to pit one group against the other as they do now.

  • That's what I'm talkin' about.

  • Solution: Throw out all the Dems in November of 2010.

  • How much better to spend money on these worthy causes than $10 billion a month in Iraq. At least Obama has his priorities straight. The biggest spender to date has been Bush and the republicans these past eight years. And its almost all money gone down the toilet. Go figure.

  • Congress has been incredibly wasteful for the last 8 (make that 150) years. Bush should have vetoed the spending bills.

However, it is not logical to replace big-spending idiots with bigger-spending idiots if your goal is to reduce wasteful federal spending.

Your "worthy causes" are unconstitutional because they violate the Tenth Amendment - something leftists seem not to know exists.

Keep my taxes low and I can find my own worthy causes. Keep your hands out of my pockets, please.

  • Obama will either fail miserably as president, or he will be assassinated.

    End of story.

If I hear "change" one more time, I am going to go crazy.

  • Personally, I'm hoping for his deportation back to Indonesia!

  • That would be a god send.

  • I do not support the bailout; the people who made bad investments should suffer.

The Committee for a Responsible Federal Budget laid out how much the presidential candidates' spending and tax-cut proposals would add to the federal deficit.

McCain's proposals for corporate tax cuts and other expenditures would add $211 billion to the deficit, said Maya MacGuineas, president of the watchdog group; which also said Obama would raise the deficit by $286 billion more than McCain.

  • lol, that's HALF of the 700 billion bailout.

Obama's budget is far more in balance than McCains, its stunningly embarrassing to compare the two, which is probably why you never even bothered putting it in context with showing how extraordinarily quickly McCain's spending/tax plan will drive us into debt.

Obama will increase debt, yes, but he will slow down the rate that we're currently going into debt under Bush, and his programs will put us in the position to increase our revenue properly.

  • You work your butt off in a class and earn an A. However, when you get your report card, it says you got a B. You ask the teacher and she says "Oh, we gave some of your grade to another student who has been struggling. He had an F, now he has a D." You go home and ask your dad, "I worked for my A and the other student didn't. Now I have to contribute to him? What's the point of working for an A?" Your dad says, "Welcome to the Republican Party." McCain '08!!!

  • Sources?

  • FDR extended the Great Depression for 10 years with his terrible policies. Obama's policies are similar to FDR, but are even more extreme. History will repeat itself if he is elected. He will DESTROY the economy.

  • I don't doubt the facts of this post but I would like to see sources as well. :)

  • colony14 dotnet

  • I found some of this stuff on U.S. News and World Reports web site.

  • lol this video is sooo true. obama would be a terrible leader. He honestly just doesnt understand the concept that the people who have stuff[middle and upper class] have it because they actually worked for it

  • If Obama is elected (Heaven forfend), it won't take long for Americans to realize they've been sold a bill of goods. Price increases will be UNBELIEVABLE, and people will long for the Jimmy Carter days. I will urge all businesses to post "OBAMA PRICE INCREASE" signs, just so the customers know that businesses must pass on costs.

If Obama wins, he will be the most hated President in history, and the mid-term elections in 2010 will be a BLOODBATH; the Democrats will lose a LOT of seats.

  • Perhaps if the U.S. didn't have the SECOND HIGHEST CORPORATE TAX RATE IN THE WORLD businesses might want to remain in the United States. No, Obama wants to tax them even more. Why can't leftists figure out that he will cause more jobs to be lost? His taxes will cost EVERYONE, not just the wealthy. But after you socialists kill the golden goose of capitalism and destroy the economy, you'll probably STILL be too stupid to recognize what you have done.

  • Bravo! Well said.

  • Well said.

    Sadly, lacking any truth though.

  • Another leftist denying the truth? Do you think the U.S. has a low corporate tax rate? The U.S. corporate tax rate is the second highest in the world. Do you not understand that rate is an incentive for businesses to move elsewhere? Don't people in Chicago shop out of town to avoid its 10.25% sales tax?

Of course, the poor in Chicago can't afford the gas to shop elsewhere, so they get stuck suffering the most from the high tax rates passed by the Democrats who've run Chicago for 60+ years.

  • Well, the US actually has the 3rd highest (the Saudi rate is in the 80s and the Jap rate is 39%), but yes, the American rate is very high. Even if you only count the federal rate (35%). Add to that the 19% rate that some taxes levy and you get a 54% CIT. This is like saying to corporations, "don't let the door hit you on your way out".

  • Exactly... at some point businesses say "enough is enough." They are leaving California in droves because of the high taxes and expensive and asinine regulations.

Self-employed individuals won't be so lucky under Obama either. He's planning on raising the top income tax rate to 39.6%. Add 15+% Social Security taxes, and you're over 54%, even before state income taxes. And that's after first paying Obama a 28% capital gains tax on any assets sold to get the cash to start the business!

  • Speaking of California: what processor do you have? An Intel product? If so, was it produced in California? If it's young, then certainly not. Intel is one of those businesses you mentioned. It no longer makes anything in California. Embarrasingly, the Silicon Valley is no longer an electronic industry hub.

  • You failed to include the companies.

And the fact that he is going to tax the fuck out of the ones that outsource.

Anyone can do that math, it takes more time to investigate, and actually know what you are talking about.

  • He wants to give tax breaks to some companies who keep jobs in the U.S.

LIKE I SAID, "he is going to tax the fuck out of the ones that OUTSOURCE".

Outsourcing is one of the things ruining our economy, and it's a conservative way to produce more, without paying more.

Once again, learn the policy first, then make judgements.

  • American troops have killed over 20,000 terrorists in Afghanistan and Iraq. What if one of those terrorists had instead lived to detonate a nuclear bomb in New York? Or poison the Chicago water supply? Or release deadly biological agents in Los Angeles?

    The money is worth.

The MAIN function of government is to protect its citizens, to do what is impossible for citizens to do for themselves. If you want socialism and Sharia law, move to Europe.

  • but how much are we spending on a useless war , lol ,

  • I'd say the order of importance is: 1) Philosophy, 2) Wisdom, 3) Character, & 4) history/experience.

Ones philosophy will guide their wisdom, & ones wisdom will shape their character, & ones character will lead them to have the history & experience that they have.

Experience in a pragmatic way is useful. If memory serves me correctly, Joseph Stalin had decades of executive experience. Philosophy is why there is such emphasis placed on Sen. Obama's mentors & associations(Ayers,Alinsky).

  • Excellent sequence of personal traits for political candidates! All Americans should remember that.

On the experience issue: Whenever McCain is asked, "Do you think your running mate has enough experience to be President?" he should respond, "Oh, were you speaking to me? I thought that was a question for Joe Biden."

  • LOL. This election has many opportunities to teach the next generation, whether or not "our side" wins or loses. Let's pray that the Constitution is preserved and the public is enlightened rather than enraptured with promises of wealth transfers.

  • If Obama wins I suggest all freedom lovers move to Alaska and Texas, and secede from the Union. The Republics of Texas and Alaska should then refuse to sell oil to the 48 states, inasmuch as Obama says he will free them from dependence on "foreign oil."

See how far the parasites who vote for Obama get after the producers leave. How many fat, stupid people can Obama save from the roofs of houses during hurricanes after the people who know how to build and repair choppers have fled his taxes?

  • Wow. What a hateful person you are.

  • Why is listing Obama's announced spending plans "hateful?" Obama proposed those plans, and I listed them. If Obama does NOT support those spending proposals, tell me which ones he has since disowned and I will gladly remove them from the list. Are you afraid Americans will learn the truth about Obama's plans?

  • I have noticed that Liberals that accuse conservatives as being "judgemental", "intolerant", and "closed-minded", are the first to attribute evil motives to positions they do not like. In this case saying you are "hateful", often saying Bush, Cheney, McCain, Palin, et al are "evil". This political bigotry is so entrenched that a rational debate is nearly impossible. Thank you for posting this video.

  • Liberals brag that tey are "tolerant," when, in fact, they are quite intolerant of truth. They are, however, very tolerant of hatred, excesses, lies, pornography, abortion, high taxes, and the destruction of America and its Constitution. It is IMPOSSIBLE to debate the lunatic left; they do not have the ability to think critically.

The leftists ridicule "trickle down wealth," but if Obama is elected they will certainly experience "trickle down misery."

  • Very true.

  • Quite.

All liberals are categorically bastards that support all things wrong in society, while conservatives are the saints who save our society from completely falling apart.

    Stop with your fucking bias.

  • Not all, of course, just most. You're starting to get the picture. Liberals want a giant nanny state, where someone else takes care of them. True conservatives (i.e., those who voted against the Wall Street "bail out") want the government to be as small as possible, freeing people to be as productive, imaginative, independent, and wealthy as their talents and initiative allow.

Conservatives have faith in mankind. Liberals assume the worst in everyone - including themselves. How sad for them.

  • This is why a persons world view is so relevant. Do they view property as owned by individuals or the state? If it is owned by the state, then the state can allocated it as they see fit to accomplish the goals of the current leaders, and no level of taxation is too high. They will LET you have what they deem in your best interest. The abolition of private property rights was the main tenet of Karl Marx philosophy. Liberty demands a respect for private property rights.

  • Exactly. That is why the "experience" arguments are irrelevant in elections. What is important is the candidate's philosophy and his respect for the U.S. Constitution and the rights of others. If I want to take away your rights and property, what difference does it make how many years I served on a committee in Congress?

This election is now about Obama's view of Amerika versus Palin's view of America. Biden and McCain are irrelevant, as far as I am concerned.

  • Businesses create jobs, not government. Health insurance is an individual concern, except for socialists. Welfare is taking from producers to give to parasites - more socialism. Social security is a giant Ponzi scheme; everything you've paid in has already been pissed away. The defense of its citizenry is the PRIMARY function of government. Anything the individual can do, he should do - without government interference. In other words, some of us believe in the U.S. Constitution, others do not.

  • You are so right... why provide healthcare, job creation, welfare, social security, etc... Instead let's just fund a war that has already cost us 500 billion by increasing the national debt. And you say democrats spend too much....

  • The point (made in a humorous way in the ad) - for liberals who cannot understand it - is that Obama will need a TREMENDOUS amount of money to pay for his new proposals, and it just isn't there. What he doesn't get from individuals he'll get from businesses - which means higher prices on all goods and services.

  • ???

Did Obama say that everyone living under $250,000 will live tax free? Not only is this the most simplistic mathematical estimate I could imagine, it is just plain incorrect and misleading.

  • More proof that liberals don't have a sense of humor. And can't do math ($367.5 billion divided by 1.7 million families is $216,176.47). And apparently don't understand the meaning of the word "average."

The point of the ad is that Obama will need to raise taxes by $367.5 billion to fund his programs. What he doesn't get from individuals via their 1040 tax filings, he'll have to get from businesses. And what he gets from businesses means higher prices for EVERYONE. Libs just don't get it.

  • hahha hey bud yes the average is in fact 265,000

but, think of all the corporations that don't pay taxes and the super rich who have it made under bush, the average is irrelevant because that's if the taxes were evenly distributed, when in fact the more you make the more you get taxed so a person who makes 251,000 (rich under obama) wouldnt get taxed 217.000... think twice before you make a stupid right wing video.

  • I keep hearing of corporations not paying taxes. I would like someone to provide a reasonable source for this. Im a CPA and I prepare both individual and corporate taxes. My clients hear this kind of tale and ask me why they have to pay taxes. Maybe you could share some insight with me, because according to the tax code, if a corporation makes a profit, it and/or its shareholders will be paying a tax. Thank you.

  • Of course corporations - large and small - pay taxes, but because they can't print money, the cost of all taxes they pay (federal, state, local, property, Social Security, unemployment compensation, worker's compensation, etc.) ALL get passed on to the customers in the form of higher prices on goods and services. There is NO escaping that. The higher the taxes, the higher the prices.

Anyone who thinks only businesses and the wealthy will foot the bill for Obama's plans is naive and foolish.

  • You are right that is an average and the very wealthy have considerable more income to absorb tax increases by. However, as the income goes up, the pool of people available for such increases thins out rapidly. Also, having looked at the IRS stats on the Bush tax cuts, the wealthy paid a greater share of the tax burden afterward than before. I dont like trusting either party so I researched this myself. I can tell you how to research this yourself if you are interested, including corporate tax.

  • Your conception of economics is brilliant. I'm glad you learned how to do subtraction and addition during elementary school.

  • Granted, Obama plans on getting some of his needed revenue from corporations, but whatever businesses have to pay will be added to the price of goods and services - and that will affect all Americans, not just those making $250,000 or more.

Obama will destroy the economy. But at least his half-brother in Kenya will get a raise (from our additional foreign aid).
