This is my hometown and it is famous worldwide for having the finest violins and cellos in the world. It's been like this for centuries and it will be forever. Chinese instruments are cheap but they are inferior. Anybody who play violin in the world knows that you can't beat a Stradivari or a Guarneri del gesu'. VIVA CREMUNA, VIVA LA ME CITA'!
@FiddlerAdam I once played a modern Cremona-italy instrument; far overpriced for how it looked and sounded (35,000) and many cellos, even many less than that price, sounded considerably better--including one very good chinese cello.
This is Roobone117, I wouldn't realy know if it sounds good or not as I am a beginner player and still learning, I don't have as much expierience with violins.
they are simply too lazy, proud of history and used to living in good conditions to really make outstanding instruments and not just sell the fact of being two buildings down the strad museum..

@FiddlerAdam I bought a Luis and Clark Carbon fiber violin. Exceptional, and in Reno dryness, it's perfect.
