Wow, 9 pages of comments and not one person can actually be smart enough to post about where Andy got his start. Remember a hair metal band called Danger Danger? Andy Timmons was their guitarist for the first 2 albums......possibly more, but the first two for sure.
@hotpinkchex I wasn't trying to be pretentious and maybe I should have worded it differently. What I was trying to say is that with the amount of people who view YouTube videos, I was a bit surprised that, within 9 pages, no one made a comment about his well known past. Because it happens with every other artist that has videos on YouTube. So I DO apologize. It was not my intent to insult anyone and my use of the phrase "smart enough" was a mistake on my part. Peace.
@romeokid69 All right. I guess I'm sorry too. I didn't mean to come off as picking a fight. Let's all just enjoy the music, and pray that G3 comes to our town.
@hotpinkchex I am with you. Was lucky enough to see the one with Malmsteen. Great show. Had seen Vai and Satriani already so I was looking more forward to Malmsteen.
This is grate mate!I'm die hard beatle fan.You guys touch smooth positions of "SFF" and at the end it bridges towards "I'm the walrus".Thanks for this. Please more.
THANKS SATCH for the post!! Timmons is stellar. Imagine how good that must make you feel to be singled out by such a guitar legend as Joe -- and having him post your stuff... This is gonna get replayed by me many many times in the future and I'm gonna check out all the rest of Timmons' music. FUCKING BRILLIANT!
Awesome..... Andy is the quintessential musician's musician, as obvious by those who linked here, and fast being recognised as one of the modern day rock greats.....deservedly so!
Strawberry Fields is from the Magical Mystery Tour album by the way and man he has great tone! Love how the chords at the end indicate I Am The Walrus!
Looks like I'm the first to view this! Love Andy! Great player and great guy. I do a video where I play along with the cd and play it slowly to help anyone interested in learning the song.

@romeokid69 I remember Danger Danger very well. I still wnt my money back for the one CD I bought. Love Timmons' guitar playing, hated that band.

@romeokid69 I don't think knowing about that makes you smart. Insulting others for not knowing about it just makes you pretentious.
