I remember this... I had just finished the Terra cavern and used a tent, and only my red mage and thief were alive. FIRST RANDOM BATTLE 5 ghouls and 3 ghasts, they paralyze my two guys so I just sit back and watch my guys get beaten down while i can do nothing. CHEAPEST. DEATH. EVER.

the game who saved the life of square-enix...perhaps this music would have expressed and represented the death of square if it would have failed. Or maybe again saved its life, when players lost the game,hearing this music and then thinking about how it saved them,it makes people pity square to help them to stay alive...sad song

@ssjcmc82 Yeah, that's when i finally heard this song the whole way through. It's so depressing then, with all the people walking around rotting, with the music not even stopping when you warp into the sky place with the Phantom Train.
