It's funny how much more popular the Sega Master System (SMS) was in Europe than in the U.S.! Did anyone in Europe have Nintendo Entertainment System back in the 80's or were they all playing SMS?
Some people had the NES, however they are allot less common than the SMS, if you go into a cash converters or some other cash for 2nd hand goods shop you will see that sega master system games are extremely common whereas NES games are incredibly difficult to come by

Well, Nintendo was more popular than Sega. But it's true that Sega was more popular in Europe than in Japan or in the US.
