  • COULD YOU SEND ME THSI RECIPE PLEASE. USE REGULAR MEASUREMENTS.THIS LOOKS VERY GOOD.

  • Can i use margarine instead of butter?

  • its tesco self raising flour. 0.11

  • i made this but with oranges, and it turned out delicious!!

  • Im assuming they used Self-raising flour since they didnt use baking powder. anyone know for sure???

  • @desanadesa she's using 1 cup so you would use 1tsp not two.

    250 grams = 1 cup

  • it is so tasty I made it for my ants party the guests loved it!!!!!

  • What kind of flour? All-purpose or cake flour?

  • Hello. I Made this today and it is lovely. <3

  • My mom made this and it tastes great!

  • she is using self rising flour , if it is plain flour for each one cup flour add 1 tsp baking powder , so here it is 2 tsp baking powder

  • @desanadesa difference between yeast and baking powder?

  • @supercooled

yeast is not used for cakes ,it is used more for doughs ,like pizza's dough ,baking powder for cakes :)

  • @supercooled Yeast actually needs time and warmth to activate the chemicals within it. Meanwhile, baking powder, is almost like a sped-up version that keeps cakes and other desserts light, while yeast tends to make it dense and heavy, just right for breads.

  • This recipe seems very simple to make. I have a recipe for pound cake, and it is VERY similar to this, with the exception of the lemon zest. I'll be making this one day! Thank you! ♥

  • this is a good recipe, easy as well.

  • yes it could be self rising flour

  • I think that they have a rising agent in the flour and did not mention it

  • no baking soda, no baking powder ???

  • In the video they show the bag of flour, which says self-rising flour (which contains the leavening agents). It is fairly typical in the UK to assume self-rising flour in cake recipes.

  • Thanks for your efforts and the good presentation

    the cake looks perfect ...

  • this isso yummy!

  • the best recipe so far!!!! thank you!!!
