This recipe seems very simple to make. I have a recipe for pound cake, and it is VERY similar to this, with the exception of the lemon zest. I'll be making this one day! Thank you! ♥
In the video they show the bag of flour, which says self-rising flour (which contains the leavening agents). It is fairly typical in the UK to assume self-rising flour in cake recipes.

she is using self rising flour , if it is plain flour for each one cup flour add 1 tsp baking powder , so here it is 2 tsp baking powder

yeast is not used for cakes ,it is used more for doughs ,like pizza's dough ,baking powder for cakes :)
