Would've love to see Vinnie Mac face "Tennesse Stud" Ron Fuller, who owned Continental Championship Wrestling at this time. At 6'9", Vince would need ladder to punch Fuller in the mouth (LOL).
Is Hulk actually trying to rock to this crud??Cring inducing and yet it is too fu*king funny not to watch!Lol!No wounder Vince turned red when Hunter and Shawn showed this on RAW a few years back!?
This was sort of funny when it came out because Vince was still just one of the announcers (it's debateable if he was the lead announcer) although even in 1987-88 my older cousins were telling me he was the WWF owner (shock!) and other scandalous gossip such as Leapin Lanny being Macho's brother (baloney!). So it's funny seeing Vince get down, dancing, etc. I heard that Vince sings it for a reason as it's supposed to be about himself, but they made it about Andre in the official video.
@peterp21 "Leapin Lanny being Macho's brother (baloney!)". They are actual brothers, Angelo Poffo is their dad. Or did you mean you thought it was baloney when you first heard it?
The ONLY thing that would've made this more awesome is if Vinnie Mac had done his power walk out on stage. For a juiced up white man, dude is gettin' down there.
@oldschool6804 : And of the men he destroyed, how many of them were also pieces of human garbage as well? Could it possibly be a case of "don't hate the player, hate the game"?
I saw this when it first aired and blocked it out of my memory until I read about Bret showing this clip to his dad. Stu's response? "So, is Vince out of the closet?"
Nothing like macho man randy savage playing the trumpet and wearing a tux thats sleevless with a du-rag with a white weight belt and ski-goggles hahahahaha one of a kind AND PULL IT OFF!
@eddh21 yeahhh the video was up on youtube a while back but i cant seem to find it now, it was when they were fueding with mcmahon and the two man power trip
i dont get it. back in the 80s and early 90s vince was always on the broadcast booth and acted as just that, never saying he was the owner, and had us believe jack tunney was above him lol. but in this 1989 music video, vince doesnt act like an announcer. he acts like the owner.
I swear when I was lil I thought vince was the guy from happy days potsy or what ever his name was lol, best part of the song is"BABY BABY"LOL vince meant that shit yell
I love how Bret Hart said his dad Stu was almost crying from laughter when he saw this clip and said Vince had come out of the closet. Bret's description was even funnier: "In Stu's world, only a gay man would have camped it up like this."
kinda funny how this song relates to vince buying all the territories back then.....Just hear his voice when he says "You'll see alot of men DROP" and "I promise you'll Lose" this what made WWF/E epic.
Lol! This video was great just like the other WWF music videos of that day and age. Vince wasn't lying about what he was singing about. He sure took over and I think this song was a warning to his competitors since he was basically hiding he owned the WWF from the millions of viewers.
@slayemdown cause DX made fun of them and well... dumped crap on them affter this song was played.. just see for yourself: watch?v=_jdbC69k6zI and also watch part 2 to see the rest
Vince is trying to be John Travolta in Saturday Night Fever but ends up looking more like David Brent trying to be John Travolta in Saturday Night Fever
This looks like a bad Saturday Night Live Skit from somewere around 1987.
Jake The Snake looks so embarrassed to be on stage Randy Savage seems to be trying not to burst out into laughter and Hulk Hogan looks like he wants to run away.
This was a classic Vince Machman ego trip in every way.
I can't believe Vince did this. The wrestlers fake playing horns is a little overkill n corny. Hogan could actually play bass, but I doubt he's playing it here.
@theShowStopper321 Bret said in his book he wasn't sure if Vince was singing about the small-time promoters he was crushing or the wrestlers he was running ragged that was leading to his domination of pro wrestling. Vince had a hell of an ego back then to think this would make him look cool and be cool.
Learning on the "McMahon" DVD the WWE released, the song was based on Vince running the WWE in his early days. Many old-school promoters thought he'd bomb. Plus, some territorial owners threatened him. Loved to have seen Vince face former territory owner Ron Fuller (Rob Parker's brother). Ron stood 6'9", so he had size over Vince (LOL).
@14DaveHunter With the exception of Jim Crockett, Vince would've been dusted by ALL the territory owners. Verne Gagne, Jerry Jarrett, even old man Fritz Von Erich were shooters who could stretch the hell out of this middle-aged Tom Jones wannabe. Bill Watts might have actually killed him-
@Pattonfrodo Hogan could indeed play the bass guitar, as he had a rock band in Tampa, Florida, prior to becoming a wrestler. But, the odds of "Macho Man" Randy Savage, Brutus "The Barber" Beefcake, and Jake "The Snake" Roberts actually being able to play the trumpets are slim.
Throw in The Killer Bees and JYD just conveniently being able to play the saxophone and the chances are next to none.
