@Marleyites it was just a strap bender.. A strap from the motor to the solid rear axle..

With a lil engine of 2.1hp like that, it will works but you'll have to change the rasio of the pulley.. Mine was 7hp and it was limit for the rasio I had (I don't have it anymore, junk yard)

useless performance? What the hell does that mean? Every B&S motor I have seen seems to have pretty usefull performance. I own briggs and stratton engines that are 30+ years old that still run pretty damn good. Where are the cam bearings in hondas OHC car engines? oh wait a minute, there aren't any! They use the same steel on aluminum that a crank and rod use in a B&S engine! Not all B&S engines are bearlingless, and not all hondas are full bearings BTW chief.

@afdhalatifftan92 I am partial to B&S, because B&S has powered 3/4 of the stuff I have owned, and I never have had any issues. But Honda makes a really nice engine too. In some cases the Honda has a little bit more features to it. But of course there is a trade off, you pay more for the Honda. Either-Or is not a bad choice. They will both have long service life if you treat them well, and do regular maintenance.

That carburetor is designed to run in a stationary position. If you shake it gas will spill out of the float bowl and leak out the bottom of the air intake tube. A 30mm mikuni would solve that problem.

you can get a big chainsaw carb for cheaper, i got mine off a blown up chainsaw in the basement and even though it was designed for a two stroke, without any adjustment, it runs purrrfectly on a briggs
