I fail to see how we need oil to put up windfarms. I mean, sure to manufacture them, you need some oil, but this amount is so small that it's hardly worth speaking of.

Of COURSE it will kill jobs to tranisition. The job gain, however, will more then make up for this. That's why we do it slowly and with care.
