  • Wow, you've improved so much over the years. I hope you become the artist you've always wanted to be. You've put enough effort in, so you deserve it.

  • Harry Potter Technique :D

  • simple, fool proof and yet such a cool method to follow the shape of poses...thank you

  • a very interesting approach. it is obviously very effective because you draw very well.

  • seems easy but hard to apply ! whyyyyyyyyyyyy !!!!!! *cries*

  • You know those overused internet phrases, I feel like using one, MIND BLOWN! I'm gonna practice these for about a year lmao.

  • M°c

  • AwesomeeeXD Thank youuu

  • Great stuff! I've seen the "lightening bolt" model several times before and it's what I personally use when sketching. It is a great technique and so helpful for a framework for muscle placement. I like to use a mix of this and Loomis' guidelines where appropriate. So helpful, great job!

  • Sycra great stuff! thanks for sharing :)

  • very confuseing

  • I have struggled with doing bodies & poses. This helped me a great deal. Thanks so very, very much. I have taken art & drawing classes and never took the time to really clarify the how-to's as you have, in fact, they teach much at all, explain it or even recommend or have books to aid in my learning. You however have given me a wealth of information. I am working on a non-profit to help young adult and older teens. This is inspiring information I can pass on to them. I am truly grateful!

  • Haaah I Unsubscribed to Subscribe Again! Amazing Artwork (:

  • You helped me a lot with your vid's, thk u very much =)

  • Your technique has helped me a lot. I am getting better outline of the pose and think it is always better when I practice it again and again: D

My problem is still currently faces and the details that make the image really alive (On 1 September I start my training as a game designer and I will be as good as I can: D Your videos help me much :D Thank you for that

  • I've been playing with this technique all day today, and I feel that is has significantly improved my ability to draw posture and poses.

  • u want my subscription huh.

  • Interesting technique that seems to work well for you. But I am not sure if it has any strength in hand drawn / frame by frame animation.

  • Genius!

  • the best i can figure them out is they mark the spatial direction the biceps is going in?

  • I recognize those poses...

    Posemaniacs, huh? :)

Nah, your art is really good. Your proportions are spot-on, and I envy your knowledge of perspective! Thanks for the videos and tutorials; they're good for a foundation or to supplement what one already knows.

  • interesting. the lightning bolt is very underused, at least on YouTube.

  • Thank you! For me, this video connects the dots to your previous lessons. I fully get it now!

  • The art...and the music...? *head explodes* Seriously, you're awesome bro

  • Hermosa musica y excelente leccion sobre anatomia humana , mis felicitaciones¡¡

  • This is awesome. Thanks for posting. One question though--why did you draw the midline on the second and third figures off to the side of the chest rather than going right down the middle? Is this to get an idea of weight-bearing? Thanks!

  • sycra is so cool!!

  • Could you dialogue more about why you use this technique? I find it very strange and confusing but it seems to work very well for you.
