i also remember this song from popular. it's a shame to hear that it's not on the dvd. does anybody remember what exactly happened in the scene that they played this song? i remember the song and scene being so perfectly matched.

In the show Popular, they played this song at the end of the episode in which Mary Cherry revealed she had a heart, when she was helping the homeless people, by giving them her big furry hat and coat.

Episode was "Mary Charity" when Mary cherry gave few of her things to the homeless, the alternate song (featured in the DVD) also fit the scene well apparently and was a really hard song to find the name of! You should listen to it, that one's also beautiful.

What really sucks about the "Popular" comments is that they released both season 1 and season 2 on DVD and they replaced the musci in the episode of "Mary Charity" so this song doesn't play any more!

I first heard this song in 2000. I was going through a bad breakup with my boyfriend, and for some reason it comforted me to a point where i was calm and could take the breakup even better. My emotions were so ragged, and poison to me. I am soooo glad you posted my all time favorite song. Good and bad memories, but love the song/beat regardless.
