I just tune my 6th string to G too, so I can use 5th string as normal and 5th and 6th together for a fuller sound.

2 words 1 Guy [Jimmy Reed] for blues Drums, Harp, Guitar, and vocals. Basic Roots but it is all feeling mixed with the right notes at the right time. I can help you. and If you can play him you will be able to speak real blues language with anyone. If you have 2 guitars make a standard and a open guitar play them both lots one after they other and a few mistakes playing open in standard visa vera should help remind you pretty quick. Mistakes are helpful if you choose to learn from them. email for more tips.
