Looks too fast to be a balloon(s) [balloons would be rising] .. and appeared to travel with a 'purpose' - I say it's a complex orb .. btw.. those trees at the end look really defoliated ..Bronx eh? :)
Excellent point, especially in this hot season! And the idea of purpose to movement .. kinda sublime to 'see' it ya know, but I've noticed it in some videos.
sure, leads me to question what so many think of the phenomena, thinking maybe these are not so much constructs but maybe, organisms, or interfaces of organisms, I have seen weird stuff have reams of stuff from witnesses, I always keep the mind open, and try not to "believe" anything, just want the facts, lol
I have seen giant birds three times, once coming out of black lightening, a piper club flying backwards low enuff to see the treads on the wheels no noise and cover the sky in about 10 minutes, plus all sorts of orbs, discs etc

From what you describe I can see how you might think some of these things are organismic ..they can mimic perhaps what 'they' observe but because they don't 'know' what our things are and how they work,, they portray examples that are either a little off or totally wrong. Aside from orbs I've not recorded: blue-flame tails, group of dark flat orbs and planes that turn into abstractions briefly. I hate that last one cuz i never turn my cam on :|

These object materialized from out of the clouds and goldgrif I know what are you saying about the "birds" they drive me nuts too. Today was a good day for UFOs' hunters.
i saw a ufo once, didn't look anything like that though..it was between clouds and hovering and turned weird and just left, had no wings or anything.

however depending on ballons depends on air currents etc, and in a city you have lots starnge flows from the heat islands etc, it looks complex tho
