You should never give a rabbit a water bath, unless your rabbit shows its absolutly not afraid of water. Even just one bath can send your rabbit into shock and kill them. Please always try to spot clean your rabbit with a wet cloth, and make sure to dry it as much as possible. Unless you let your rabbit sit in its own filth for long periods of time they should never stink.

Rabbit's should not smell, if your rabbit does, check the bedding. My rabbit never smells and she has a long coat.

how can i groom my bunny on his tummy/chest? he wont let me. he is very scared of being picked up and wont lay still if i put him on his back, he will wriggle and kick. he is a 3 months old longhaired bunny and his fur is getting entangled. will picking him up daily and holding help? any ideas?

@xxxSoDeRGuYxxx hi there, this is a natural, and necessary thing for rabbits to do. They'll eat special droppings called ceacotropes, and they need to eat them to keep the healthy bacteria in their digestive system, so dont stop him from doing this! he needs to to be healthy!

Maybe you should try to get a vet to trim their nails first, there's like a little vein in their nails that can be really bad if you accidentally cut it

Honestly, I am NOT a professional, But I know for a fact she is wrong.. Your not suppose to bathe your rabbit. It can scare them so much.. (into something im not sure what, I forget but I know it can scare them really really bad) If you bathed your's and it shaked and just layed there that means they was scared. So DO NOT bathe your rabbits! (Wash them with a clothe!) :)

You're absolutely right. Bathing a rabbit can cause heart attack, and in certain cases dead...Never put bunnies into water. Instead, if neccessary, clean the bun's paws with a wet towel or somethin' like that.
