    I've watched the film "The wind that Shakes the Barley" many times-- my students ask me all the time about that period in Irish history and Irish history in general....

  • Hi, thank you for the video comment. The only problem with the film "The Wind that Shakes the Barley" was at the beginning. It goes straight into the conflict without explaining how it started....the situation leading up to that moment, but yes it is a great film.

  • Well one thing that annoys me about the film is the hurling scene at the beginning- absolutely pathetic- looks like they're playing golf!
