I give you all huge props for this trip. I can barely comprehend the crap you must have gone through. Watching this entire series (started at 10 and watched to 14 just now, plan on having a little marathon tomorrow afternoon) I really want to accomplish a feat like this.

I have also been curious as to your setups for this journey- these boards must be superhuman to undergo this abuse and for almost all of them to survive (But if Adam had a Bhangra, I think it wouldn't have cracked :P)

I did 3 months cycling from the north of Peru along the whole coast of Ecuador and then the mountains to Quito. My trip was hardcore but these guys are ultra-hardcore. The videos give me flashbacks of my trip, eating shit food, camping in the middle of nowhere, getting attacked by wild dogs, getting GRINGO shouted at you every time you see humans etc.
