Put Eric Metcalf in a modern spread offense and his numbers would have been awesome. His size and skill set have become the norm in college football, 20 years after his college career ended. I remember him for being probably the only thing that kept Texas competetive during those tough and lean years in the late 80's and well after, until Mack Brown put us back on the map to stay. Eric The Great, one of a kind.
