I really don't see harm swimming in a reservoir if its done properly and not being stupid. Granted, some of us, like myself love jumping high cliffs into the water, or jumping off a bridge which all can be dangerous, but it is fun and I enjoy it and I am well aware of the dangers of such obstacles if they arise. It beats swimming in a pool any day!
