Lego Star Wars 4483 Imperial AT-AT review

Ugh. I got the Falcon for Xmas, and decided, "hmmm my old AT-AT would look good on the shelf next to this", so I dug it out of storage. What a pain in the ass set! The legs are tedious like you said, and I can barely get this set to hold together! Plates fall off easily, and the head is just horrible. I've had it just fall off a few times! The doors won't stay closed either! I swear I just walk by and it wobbles! I do love the troop carriers and the Speeder Bike, but I think I need an upgrade!

I like that a speeder bike comes out the back as according to the blueprints the at at walkers did carry speeder bikes that exit from the rear of the vehicle.

it may not be to scale but cool. see star wars technical manual for details.

also more troop space is defiantly better.

@96legoboy I wouldn't say it's the worst. In terms of design and look it's great. LEGO could include more minifigures but the price for the new one sucks. It's WAY too expensive. I personally wouldn't go out to look for one though.

hey I tried using a new toothbrush to dust off my lego sets like you said, and it worked perfect!! thanks so much! i originally thought i had to take my sets apart, soak the peices in water, let them dry, and put if back together again, not anymore!!

The new one is a piece of crap. This one can hold a speeder, and more people inside. Also, the General Veers is not all that different from the battle pack commanders. The thing I like about the motorized one is that it walks obviously, and it fits two in the cockpit. Overall, this is my favorite!

I have the motorized AT-AT, and I wish I had this one, the only good thing about the new one is that you can modify it to make the Snowtroopers go up and down on a string. I might get this one soon. Would you recommend it to a 13 year old?
