I need some advice. I am about to embark on building a houseboat from scratch and where it will be situated will mean a logistical nightmare when it needs to come out of the water for the hull to be maintained.Therefore i am looking for the best material to build the hull with to reduce maintenance. A steel hull that is then "sprayed metal" has been suggested. I have also been told that this could last 50 years or more without neding to come out of the water...Any advice would be great....
Engineered logs are not real solid wood logs. they are a light composite material with an exterior made to look like real logs. It is really a cool idea for looks! Think of those composite ceiling beams used for decoration. There are even entire cabins available made of composite logs that can be assembled in about a weekend.. like "Lincoln Logs"
the video could do w/o Stevie Wonder music. It takes thinking, planning, skill, and hard work to build a house like that; it doesn't take entertainment or being entertained by those incapable of all of the above.
