bitwonk what type of keyboard/voice do u use to get jpj's sound here?

also do u know what jpj originally used for this? did he use the rhodes?

@Pepper2Jason Hi. JPJ used a Hohner Electra-Piano, a late 60's electric piano that was kind of a cross between a Wurli and a Rhodes. You can read about them on Wikipedia and find demos of them on YouTube. Of course they're nearly impossible to find and difficult to maintain.

I tried the Electra-Piano settings of Logic Studio's EVP88 virtual piano but it was hopeless.  I heavily tweaked Logic's EVD6 virtual clavinet and added distortion and carefully adjusted EQ. I wish it sounded closer.
