@kontizas7 well i dont think that mine can run crysis cuz when i play CS Source at maxed graphics i got only 9-30 fps, average 17 fps i think. :(( ohhhh i am so unlucky :'((
man i have an intel pentium D 2.80 ghz 2.80GHZ can i run that game or i have to overclock it? and i dont want to overclock because it will burn my computer is overclocking is really dangerous?
@pfizer121 if you have a good gpu you can run the game just fine, tell me you system specs and i will answer you properly because for example if you got an 6970 and a pentium d you can run at very high without overclocking [i dont believe you got an 6970 on a pentium d though] it depends on what gpu you have, the overclocking isnt dangerous if you give nice amount of voltages and you have good cooling. The best answer is research before you do anything.
next time i will make more oc and i will prove you that this pc can run crysis very solid the pentium d 960 is old miracle no comparison with new processors but its very strong even stronger than some core 2 duos!
@cgtkl why should i put the settings at medium when it runs just fine on very high with 22fps avg and if i want i can overclock some more and go to about 30 fps average or change the settings to high and be just fine.
I think that with your Pentium D @ 4Ghz it should works better cause if 22 fps is a good mark for you fantastic but i dont think so. Min 30. With all my respects, im not ordening you what to do.
Your graphic card is good agp card but CPU is 775 and old but im not sure which is doing bottleneck Card or CPU, both are olds. Maybe the big problem is the AGP.
@freedomboy96 tha means i must buy new motherboard, new graphic card, new ram...i dont wanna spent that many dollars/euros on such an old pc thats why i preffered to upgrade it with not much money and i am fine with every new game
@freedomboy96 HAHAHAHA you make me laugh. A pentium D better than one of the highest end core 2 duos @ 4.3Ghz? 2035mhz fsb? thats halarious. And I could clock alot higher but im limited by my motherboards vdroop on my 780i which I doubt you even know what that is... XD
@freedomboy96 core 2 is better... and my core 2 duo e8500 is clocked at 3.16Ghz stock. I can oc it upwards of 4.3Ghz on air. Could go higher if my mobos vdroop wasnt so bad. With that said, my e8500 wopes the floor with any pentium D. not to piss in your cereal but clock speed isnt everything. The e8500 has 6MB of l2 cache vs. 4MB with the highest end pentium ds and 2MB with the lower end ones. Cache also isnt everything. Core2 archtecture is MUCH more efficient. that the netburst/pentium
What is the point of creating a video saying that your computer runs crysis great with your hardware, but then the entire video is just a huge lagfest. I understand that FRAPS is killing the performance, but it defeats the purpose of the video if we can't see how well it runs. Honestly, I believe you. I run the game fine with a HD 5750 vapor-x OCed and P4 630 3.0GHz HT.
@kontizas7 That answer no longer applies to the situation. You can get an AMD Phenom II X4 955 Black Edition, ASUS m5a97 AM3+ motherboard, and 4GB of Corsair 1600Mhz DDR3 RAM for $250. That's one hell of a cheap gaming platform. Add your own GPU and you're good to go. I don't blame you, though. A year ago, prices weren't this good.
AGP Aperture size should be set exactly to how much your video card has, in this case 512. Having it set on 256mb lowers the performance of the card but if you set it higher than the actual video card, the pc won't boot.
sorry man but this thing is so dead.i guess that the frames can't be over 5 - 10.even my old core 2 duo e4600 2.4 ghz can beat this performance.the golden age of pentium has passed.
man i didnt say when you buy a new pc buy a pentium d and an agp card.first of all buying a new pc that can play crysis on very high needs a good graphic card,a good processor blabla...what i am saying is if u have a motherboard that supports pentium d and agp you dont need to give that much money to buy a new pc,you can upgrade the one you already have with less money and you will get same results thats what i mean...framerates without fraps is at the description and at the end of the video.
man this pc is obsolete. Just fine for internet email and movies.
Crysis run like SH.. on this even witout fraps

Also I possess the PentiumD960 and I have to say that it is a very high-performance CPU, to pact that is adequately cooled.
