i wen in dec of 2008. really was a nice walk. Big monitor lizards keep you company as you sit on a bench watching the lake. i stayed just down the road at suan dusit hotel. Place is run by interns at the university. Nothing fancy but beds were most comfortable I had in 12 trips to Thailand.
Hello i am going to Bangkok next month to meet my girl friend she is Thai and lives in BKK and i really love animals and she said she can take me to wherever i want, is this a good zoo or which woulds you reccomend in BKK or close to iy

Hi Jasmine,
If you have time during your stay in Bangkok, then I recommend a visit. Try not go at a weekend. It is really over crowded.

Hi, as zoos go, I quite like this one, except at weekends when it gets really crowded & I mean crowded....!!!
Apart from seeing the big animals, the reptile house is good, too.... N
