Wasn't this song from The Island? (a not-that-bad movie,I might add,although the song from it,My Name is Lincoln far outshone it).

Yes,in my opinion the second film was bad. The third one wasn't that great either and didn't follow the book in the least.

The series didn't follow it either,but it was interesting and sometimes thought-provoking and overall not bad.

But anyway,the first one was excellent and you did it justice in your video here.

The Black Stallion was a book by Walter Farley first (followed by a very long series), and later it was adapted into a film--which is the film I use for this video. It was followed by the sequel, The Black Stallion Returns, which I have, but not on my computer. There was also a short-lived TV show, I do believe, called The Adventures of the Black Stallion. You should see The Black Stallion the movie--it's beautiful. User 'soulseek' has it uploaded, if you want to preview it before buying.

@waseom It might be a lot different from the book, but I don't think it sucked at all. What sucked a big one was the new Young Black Stallion. It was way off from the book in comparison to 'Returns.' I grew up with both films and I think they rock.

I bought my ex-wife a quarterhorse that was almost dead of pneumonia. He was all black except for one white sock. She nursed him back to health and he turned out to be amazing! She trained him for barrel racing and he was awesome! He had an acceleration that would make your feet come out of the stirrups.
