  • @Alienfirefox fuck of ya piece of shit I'm an Aussie n I highly disagree with that

  • they make awesome human shields and thats about all the yanks are good for

  • The new TBAS system is a fucking angel for firing positions

  • Comment removed

  • Yeah brodie 0296 there wont be dragon skin in the australian army for 2 reasons

    1The government are tight arses

2 Ninjas skinned all the dragons sold thier hide to yanks and used the heart to dye their clothes black because the only true black is the heart of a dragon

  • The Australian Army should do a lot of things but unfortunately it lacks the funds... Those "Dragon Skin" vests are a bit too hexy to supply to the average dig, they're flat out getting Eagle Marine to replace that MC'PISS that some chump behind a desk thought would be a good idea...

  • the australian army should wear dragon skin vests

  • the australian army does ware kevlar u retards.

  • "Weapons Training" read the post you idiots. How long were coalition forces pre-deployed to neighbouring countries prior to hostilities commencing...............months! You dickheads think this was Iraq??? Skills need to be maintained in any theatre of operations, in and around continuing operational commitments.

Goodnight kiddies sleep tight under a umbrella of protection all you cunts want to do is bitch about XXX

  • we do use vests in the australian army we just dont use them all the time cus we have a saying in australia "harden the fuck up" but really we have 5 kinds of vests issued to us these guys are only useing there basic carrier for target shooting

  • why doesn't the Australian army wear kevlar vest? Because we are careful not to stand in front of Americans.

  • @jennybird666 lol, no its because aussie soldiers dont go to the frontlines

  • Bum love..Just like royal across the pond..

  • I know what this guy is saying. I was at 4rar for two years but not as a commando. The unit does have a high number of men who are unfortunately taking it in the arse.

I lived on barracks for about three months and saw some homo shit going on.

It was the type of place where you just had to put up with it. I left just before they changed their name to 2cdo. Still goes on there.

  • @responderxx

hahah that is fucking funny. I had to put up with shane craig when he was a lance jack at 3. The filthy cunt lives with his fuck'n boyfriend at beecroft. The two are fair dink fuck'n gay lovers and he is now a corporal over at 2 cdo.

  • Sick video!

  • why is the special forces in Australia still using the outdated 84mm carl gustav?

  • @spankymarvin It's not outdated, it still does it's job well.

Why replace something that still works.

  • thats like saying why do most armies use the AK 47 made in 1947.

  • @spankymarvin if it aint broke, don't fix t

  • @spankymarvin Because it is an awsome bit of kit. Especially thge new light weight version that smashes Taliban without having to call in Close Air and risk civilian casualties/destroying whole compounds.

  • Yeah I hate to say it but 2 CDO has a fuck'n shitload of poofters in it. I had a mate who just left and he said the place was crawling with poofters. Its right across the ADF.

  • @Kinbs7979 SOunds like you are in denial-Maybe you like the cock yourself??? In any case any "Poofter" in SF has out performed you to get there and get a shit load of money, courses, kt and operational experience. FUCKTARD.

  • What's the bazooka weapon thing at the end he fired?

  • @PR0GRAMMING Carl Gustav 84mm

  • M2 carl gustov

  • @sucram7979 Yeah having a gay guy isnt too bad but when theyre frating in the barracks and ops is abit skew wiff if you ask me I reckon if your goin to act like a girl get treated like one and wear a skirt. That means no combat jobs. If your gay good for you if your gay and going to act like a girl now we got problems.

  • Comment removed

  • @sucram7979 As long as the guys watching my back and not my ass Im fine if I dont know about it I dont care too much in regards to homosexuality, but then again I havent had the same shit as you happen if it did Id forget talking Id just give em a thump as they should know better.

  • It does and i hate doing it. but its funny when you abuse the wrong person.

  • M4A1 carbines (Australian designation M4A5) They use the M4 because of its modular capabilities. The cams are DDPCU (Desert Disruptive Camouflage Uniform)

  • Its called DPDU.... Nice try anyway :-)

  • No it DPCU

  • @fpvshitsonhsv Sorry mate its DCPU in the ADF and the Desert version is DPDU, As for who is in the film its in Iraq and of training therefore 2Cdo formerly 4RAR outside Bagram air base during 2003-2005. SASR is not a commando unit though they are trained to use commando force tactics eg; Sabotage, Direct Action, Reconaissance etc etc.

  • No its DPCU i know for a fact,as its displayed on the crate

  • Comment removed

  • @AusSnipe bahaha filmed in Iraq outside Bagram air base hey.... wow someone failed geography last time I heard Bagram was in Afghanistan do you actually know what your talking about or just like making shit up?

  • COSE I FELT LIKE IT!!!!!! no sorry mate i misread your comment.

  • no they are Aussies the Aussie special forces use m4 because it has a shorter barrel.

  • The barrel isn't necessarily shorter its moved back into the stock more hence it being a "Bullpup" design.

  • amazing shot with the carl gustav at the end there.

  • very brave me and women!

got an info session in feb about recruitment im really looking forward to it

  • very nice, not as good as the old school 2 commando back in the 70s

  • do some more research before spouting off will ya?

  • These are Aussies bro and their not using m16s, their using canadian made c8 carbines with elcon scopes. Not to mention they are wearing the aussie coffee and cream camo pattern.

  • no theyre using M4s (sopmod?) with australian made elcan wildcat sights, the uk special forces use C8s.

  • Comment removed

  • LOL funny mate.

  • @CaptainAnarchy339 the CDO's dont use the Aus Styer's

  • they r aussie look at the cams!!!! they r commandos thats y they are not using f88s

  • @CaptainAnarchy339

This is Our second commander unit, they are not the australian army. And the Australian army have m4's and steyr augs

  • @RoughBass Mate its Commando not Commander and they ARE Australian Army more precisely they are Australian Infantry.

  • @CaptainAnarchy339

No of course they are USMC! That's why they are wearing desert AusCam!

    (sarcasm)

  • back then they werent 2CDO

  • i wonder why the australian army dont have a vest

  • ... what? Do you mean bullet-proof kevlar?

  • yes i mean i know your country have it but how come that only few soldiers wear it

  • It's worn by choice/orders. It's possible the kevlar reduces your speed when you move.

If an ADF member can correct me on that, that would be good.

  • ah ok

  • all the aussie soldiers that are deployed to warzones wear protective vests, in this case, they're in a safe zone, just homing in their weapons,.

Most aussie soldiers back at home dont wear armour, i think, because we dont have enough to go around, but on some major infantry exercises they will wear old armour.

its not like with the Us army, where practically every soldier, even if they are a finance clerk has their own set of armour lol

  • Yakkaman.SASR dont have to but yes all other's like 4rar ect do,but there is no shortage of armor. Its all fresh out the box, well on isue day anyway

  • @fpvshitsonhsv. Im sure there is no shortage of armour, im just saying, that back at home, they seem to do quite a few marching, shooting exercises and so, without body armour. In the US army, all the soldiers wear combat gear during training. wouldnt it help to train with the gear your going to be fighting in?? im not having a go at u, it just seems to be common sense to practice shooting with armour on.

  • @Yakkaman Body Armour is not required for recon missions only DA (Direct Action) armour on recon missions only adds to operator weight when that could be replaced with mission essentials armour is not essential, unlike what the US seems to think, not having a go at the US I have several serving members as close friends its just different doctrine and operation criteria. As a footnote 1 SFOD-D do not use rebound body armour for a majority of theyre missions.

  • @AusSnipe Worked with CAG have you? I think you'll find you are mistaken.

  • @bulb0lsanoo Cause its a bitch of a thing to wear. You only wear it when there's an operational need. In this case, they're doing some live fire serials and dont need to wear it. If they were outside the wire on a patrol, that's a different matter.

  • This is training they dont need a vest -_- check out any live combat video and the most likely will be wearing a vest

  • i know this is a training, and ive seen them in the field thats why im wondering why only few soldiers is wearing a vest -- most of the time its just a chest rig and a helmet

  • If they dont have a helmet and vest you will also notice they wont have the Aussie flag patch either(on left arm).Thats becouse they are part of the SASR team you shouldnt be able to see there face either, thats why some have the face rag too

  • SASR are a secret comando squad and cant be identified. This is for there safty as some could be on a operation at the time.Other units wont get used for undercover type operations.Therfore they have the Aussie flag patch and are used in front line ect operations

  • @fpvshitsonhsv All Australian Units wear the Australian National Flag on the left shoulder SASR and 1Cdo/2Cdo included. We are proud of where we are from and it identifies us as Australians not US/Dutch/British/New Zealand forces. For the purposes of camofluage and concealment you are issued a subdued IR variant or a desert variant of the Australian Flag.

  • Were do you get this shit from? SASR squad do not have a patch. They cant and it has nothing to do with being proud or not. This is a secret service squad and when behind lines there should be nothing that can be identified. The only info that can be known is name and rank if you have to undergo interrogation.

  • An SASR team do privet undercover missions that should not be seen by the public.Other units do not so the patch can be worn,a SASR members face is never to be identified as they could be on a opperation.

  • @fpvshitsonhsv Mate they do where do I get this "shit" from is the shoulders of Commandoes and SASR and yes to answer the next question I am a serving member and I have mates and family in SOTG, thankyou and goodnight.

  • Good stuff what department you work in? Im a mechanic and work on the Bushmaster IMVs

  • @fpvshitsonhsv Infantry and proud of it. Im awaiting my results for my suitability for cadre selection.

  • @AusSnipe Its funny, i didn't know someone could be in a regiment that only exits on paper. Since it became the 2nd commando regiment, 4RAR hasn't had anyone it in.

  • im going to do the ADF gap year in the army, so i can decide if i would like to be in the army full time or choise another career path.

  • Decide, apply first and get the ball rolling. If you don't have your stuff up to scratch, you will be put behind.

  • i wanted to aply for army infantry but there not taking ne one for 12 months looks like its airforce airfield defence for me

  • fuck that, glorified secruity guard.

  • mate that is exactly what i said but its what i wana do

  • oh too easy, my comment was inaccurate anyhow. You probably already know all this but you will undergo all the same training as army infantry and the officers go to duntroon for 18 months with the army so they are very much equals in job roles. Sorry if i offended you with that comment and good luck with training!

  • what you plan on going into the army as bro

  • How does the gap year work exactly? Is it fulltime for a year in a specific job or a number of different jobs?

  • yep, for the army at least. 12 month contract in a specific job. However there are some jobs gappies can't do.

  • air force gap year completely different. you do rookies and officer training then bum around at a unit, but it's heaps good in that you have alot of gap year specific shit you can do, everyone gets lots of career advice

  • erm...no such thing as 4RAR now matey. 1st and 2nd are the commandos now.

  • Why are people posting shit about our SF on youtube pages? Seriously people you should know better.

  • this footage was released by the ADF, its not showing anything thats a secret or compromises operational security.

  • just joined up the other week goin in 4 ASLAV

  • i didnt know we used the Browning M2

  • everyone uses the M2

  • Everyone??

  • pritty much every military in the world. any country influenced by russia will probably be using the 12.7mm Kord (12.7mm = .50 cal)

  • @SkullKing11841 Only eastern european and asian countries are influenced by russian military and they dont use the 12.7mm anymore they use a 14.5mm and have been since WW2

  • yes that why i said any country that is influenced by Russia. and no the KORD is 12.7x108mm and i know they use the 14.5mm in other systems.

  • @SkullKing11841 You kinda need to specify as when you said 12.7 = .50 cal that usually means .50 BMG while you said KORD you also said .50 in the same sentence so theres the root of my misinterpretation

  • @AusSnipe yere that would be my dyslexia. Ok the 12.7mmx99mm is the .50 caliber round. the .50BMG is 12.7mmx138mm. M2 browing .50 cal is 12.7mmx99mm. the Brarret M107 fires the .50 BMG = 12.7mmx138mm. i no the Russians do use the 14.5 cal round for some weapon systems. but the KORD is 12.7mmx108mm. the 12.7 is the diameter of the shell and the next numbers are the length of the shell. im not being patronizing btw. but i just broke is down into. hope it helped. =)

  • @SkullKing11841 Yeah I understand I am an avid and experienced shooter but I just place the .50 cal as .50 BMG round by default as thats the .50 I used. Thats what I was saying it was my mistake in confusing what you meant I termed the .50 BMG in the stead of the KORD as most Russian heavy machine guns I have experience with were 14.5. My bad :)

  • ok thats cool thx mate :)

  • @SkullKing11841 Mate the Barret takes 12.7x99 rounds like the NM140 Rauphoss. The Raufoss Mk.211 - is a .50 caliber BMG (12.7x99mm NATO) multipurpose anti-material projectile originally developed by the Norwegian company NAMMO Raufoss AS under the model name NM140 MP. Are you actually a sniper? If not what is with the "AusSnipe" bit:?

  • @ViciousSalicious oops my bad i thourt the barret was 12.7x108 and AusSnipe??? my tags skullking11841

  • @SkullKing11841 or the dushka

  • lol iraq with trees...and kangaroos

  • ive just applied to enlist as a commando direct entry to special forces... the training is apparently hell!... i cant wait!!

im currently training my ass off going for runs every other day, training with weights and swimming as well.. i just hope my body doesnt let me down.. because i know my mind wont....

i have so much respect for anyone and everyone that makes it through Kapooka let alone commando and special forces training...

    i cant wait!

  • @hardiman86 my dad went through direct entry and was selected as one of 12 to make it out of 300 candidates. Train hard, mental strength is a major key and listen to everything they say u'll make it.

  • 4RAR doesn't exsit anymore they're Now 2nd Commando

  • i am currently applying for rifleman, cant w8, you get so fit and learn soooo much.

  • Wow, Kapooka looks like Iraq with trees...

  • wish l was an australian commando..

  • These diggers are the fucking bees knees. God bless em for doin wat 99% of us couldn't.

  • Thanks for the vid upload,,,some nice kick arse stuff there.

Im 28 and want to join the infantry, i was a choco and in kapooka in 2002 but have to go back there... Am i too old to get back into regs as a riflemen??

  • too old? doubt it, we had a guy in our platoon over 40 with 11 kids and all sorts of shit. just join and do it.

  • Comment removed

  • You've commented on both of my videos like an idiot about homosexuality on 4RAR, are you even in the bloody military, or is this in fact a joke?

  • Comment removed

  • These people do matter. But I'll let the facts do the talking. You still haven't answered my question. Have you served? I'll take that as a NO however.

I would LOVE for you to say your comments in front of a digger who has a shitload of muscle & who's clearly pissed off. But you wouldn't, because you have NO GUTS. Coward.

Oh, and by the way, while you're sounding like a friggin know-it-all, I'll just pass you off as an idiot. Granted, you're better than a few I know of. Good day, moron.

  • Of course he hasn't served because if he told you he didn't, he'd look like an idiot because he's not knowledgeable about military topics.

  • Mate for the sake of Mirikam Ill provide the angry digger. I am 4RAR and you are an imbecile what is the point in shooting non combatants when your engaged with combatants, cant answer that well I can you dont need to nor have to and I believe you would rather shoot the guy with the gun rather than the women and children without. But dont worry mate you dont know much about overseas operations either as you cant win a war without local support and you cant do that killing the innocent civilians.

  • fuck u sucramsamson, hope u die very soon. i am so sick of u bunch of war protesters spreading bullshit about killing of civillians. how bout instead of insults say thanks for been able to live in a free country, if those terrorists had their way theyd cut ur neck right across ur adams apple.

  • @AusSnipe You are 4RAR. Funny I didn't know a person could be a unit? I also didn't know someone from 4 RAR (CDO) would write it as 4RAR as all teh guys there hate the RAR bit and like emphasizing or at least including the CDO bit in it. I'm calling BullShit liar on you as an operator from that unit would not state it on fucking You Tube. I doubt you are in the Army at all let alone a sniper. Cock Holster.

  • @ViciousSalicious Only those who were in 4RAR before it was 4Cdo or newly reformed 2Cdo write it and address it as 4RAR we still used the 4RAR colour and the RAR badge mate. As for me writing up who and what I did doesnt bother me nor do I bear the burden of OPSEC on my former unit and job. Sorry mate but as common with the youtube community youve found it hard to believe that some have done things others only dream about. Thanks for your time

  • @AusSnipe

Hey AusSnipe were you ok with the amount of pillow biters? Mate I hate to say it there is more bum rooting going on in that place than some sought of all gay cruise liner sailing the Atlantic. Its fucking sickening the amount of poofters that 'that place' has in it I can name at least 20 pillow biters that still serve in that fucking unit. I was not OK with poofters when I served as a digger, that is more or less the reason I am not a serving digger today.

  • @AusSnipe

The Army isn't a place for poofters, it just makes for good hygeine.

  • Comment removed

  • @AusSnipe If you have no issues posting who you are and what you did when did you serve in 4RAR. If it was never as a Commando then you have no more expertise on the unit as it i scurrently than anyone else here with Google.I hear that you are "broken" and are pretending to be an SF operator. I hope this isn't the case. BTW you nvere told me if you are a qualified sniper or not-AusSnipe

  • @ViciousSalicious Lol so true...

  • 1. No they haven't. Cite something.

    2. Precisely what the fuck does the 4RAR have to do with homosexuals?

    3. Fuck off... Git.

  • OI u pathetic waste of space. the american and the australian forces are very different. the training and the mentality of the soldiers is very different. so before u open ur mouth try getting a fucking brain, or go draw the target on urself. might get a use for u.

  • LOL, mililiman7 is a weak cunt.. He got rejected by DFR and is now a bitter son of a bitch.. He wanted to go 'ASLAV crewman' but got turned down and now likes to post shit about everyone that is ADF!!! I went to school with this idiot, he is a weak loser :)

  • I want be MECH MECH MECH MECH!

  • If u aint 3 RAR u aint shit Airborne.

    Militiaman7.

  • Comment removed

  • ... what?

  • haha, agreed....

  • With writing like that the ADF wouldn't take you.

  • There is nothing wrong with the F88 only weak useless cunts that are poor operators. The M4 is prone to just as many stoppages in those conditions.

  • Yeah but the M4 doesnt have the range that the F88 does.

  • exactly

  • if your staff seargent allows it, you can swap the barrel of the m4 to a better one... i forgot the name but its what i plan on doin.

  • nice shot with the 84

  • Do SASR commando's have a choice of wat equipment they use? e.g. do they HAVE to use M4's or can they use F88's?

  • They use whatever they LIKE to use matey. I wouldn't argue with them...

    no idea mate.

  • Depends on what weapons systems they specialise in mate, from personal experience they have a wide variety of weapons and attachements for those weapons. Dispite what you hear and see the Commandos are the aussie equivelant to the US Navy SEALs and the SASR are almost peerless in their training. Lets put it this way if your on the other end of the gun you WONT be telling anyone you saw them. Im dropping info ive read seen first hand or heard from other soldiers.

  • ssoo what iv heared. so say if im a standard riflemen i could have the choice to buy/pick a weapon of my choice so this could be a m4A1 or mp5 or any of that stuff. if its true or so tell me do u have to invest in the weapons or does the government cover it. see i am havening diffulity trying to decide what to do in the army just..so many jobs and opportunities

  • You don't buy. The Army gives weapons to you for use while you're allowed to and you give it back when not needed.

  • ok so do we have selection over weapons? or is just the AUGs

  • LOL you have already been told SAS basically use whatever they want. Within reason. I dont think you will be able to get some obscure weapon just coz you like the look of it.

Since M4 (or variants) is the best gun there is basically, has all the attachments, and is already in use in the ADF ide say you would need some very good reasons to get anything else.

And if your a regular riflemen you would be using Aug.

  • thanks

  • plus if your in the SAS, which is frikken hard from what i hear, you would be a weapons master and would pick according to what you need, not like

  • lol, comon

mp5, your gonna be a rifleman with an mp5

its a specialised weapon for close quarters

  • lol did i say that?

  • ye, lol

you said something like that you would choose an mp5 if you joined the infantry or somethin

    cant remember exactly

  • mmmmmm i dont think so but we will leave it at that. I am just glad ur not a faggot like the rest of youtube yellin NOOB all over.

  • lol, oh well

    my bad if u didnt

  • all god man ;)

  • They can only use the M4. Ts is better suited for the situations Commandos face, and F88's are found to be a bit awkward to reload and have a sluggish trigger. M4's are prone to blockages, but there are a few quick techniques to use to remove the blockage

  • Yeah i just started training on the F88 the other day, being a RCT in the RAN. I have to agree with you about the magazine release catch being a bit awkward cause you have to put your thumb on the very end of it lol.

  • yer but u can change the trigger weight and it does look hard to reload i wouldnt know im a civilian im not alowed full auto:(

  • the dude firing the rocket is a mate of mine. Matty never talks about the stuff he did and its shit that him and the boys have been plastered all over the fuckin web. leave them be.

  • ye DVospeed1 the special forces of the Australian army (SASR and 4RAR) use M4,MP5,USP adn the SR-25 rifle.

    bucky

  • I thought the Aussie's used steyr augs. It looks like they are using M4's or an equivalent in the beginning of the vid. Are the steyr augs still the general issue rifle?

  • Yup steyr is still standard issue but 4rar and special forces units use M4s.

  • wow how many countrys are in iraq.

  • About 22 now, although that info could be outdated. There are another 18 countries that had soldiers in Iraq but have since withdrawn them.

  • iraq dosn't know when to stop eh?

  • Seems not :)

  • Go Aussies

  • Kick ass Aussies!

  • Sick awesome.

  • 5/5

  • You kill Dems hey? :)
