What lap and strip times? A Nascar oval isnt a damn track...check Nünbergring up, Nissan GT-R beats Corvette C6 ZR1 thats biturbo v6 vs turbo charged v8....even a BMW M3 CSL are as fast as the C6 Z06...straight 6 vs V8 again.
The ZR1 is a gr8 track car no doubt but the feeling and quality vs other 100.000$ cars makes it crap.
I really hope so because US cars have very little to say in Europe, who want a Corvette ZR1 that only runs on the track and are horrible on public roads then you have the Nissan GT-R that are a 4 seater with a big boot, dosnt drink the whole world in fule etc :D

@fesen2 I'm American and I agree European + Asian cars are better built as in performance (most of the time). However that isn't always the case. Check out the stig time between the Lexus LFA and the Corvette ZR1. The ZR1 also beats the v10 Audi R8(Lambo engine), Porsche 911 gt3, and mclaren mercedes SLR. Corvette also achieves a 1.1lateral g. So "Yes" I agree, however no one can really down play the corvette now can they? Thanks

Can't deny that Clarkson knows or at least looks like he knows relatively little about cars, but saying these cars suck because they are outperformed by the Z06 is very, very immature. I guess, being over 20 you have probably grown out of the "I wanna be a street racer, GTR FTMFW!!" rubbish, but what yet you have to realize is that a car is so much more about than performance. One can make a lot of performance claims about any of the cars in this series.
@genatsvalle91 Yeah yeah, GM made a corvette engine once upon a time and can't just improve it. However, GT-R r35 out runs any muscle except ZR1, only with a 3.4 V6. Talking about the engineering not a truck engine on a piece of plastic like ZR1.
@yurifiero I actually have a hard time finding cars that are "better" than a DBS (again it is a matter of opinion but the only other car in it's class that I would otherwise consider is the SLS AMG, nothing else comes close).
The 944 is a great car for a starting enthusiast, manual Gbox, chaep, decently quick, easy to live with....

Lo scopo del video in questione non è quello di stabilire l'auto migliore, ma quella che riesce a farti divertire di più e forse la DBS ci riesce di più rispetto all'Alfa e la Maserati.

la f40 è vecchia, e le ferrari di quei anni, per quanto buone possono essere, sono anche molto impegnative da guidare.
Il suo concetto di divertimento è quello dove la macchina ti aiuta correggendo le "cazzate" che fai; quando scodando ti può riportare in traiettoria senza che tu abbia bisogno di chiamare il carro attrezzi etc...o perlomeno questo è quello che ho capito di lui seguendolo per 13 stagioni di top gear ormai.
