  • what my people are finding out is most rez's are sitting on oil or gold or pot hash so at the end of the day it feels good to be a Real Native Cree style

  • @RedSkinNative89 Shhhhhh don't tell anyone. Remember what happened last time

  • I meant to say their own.

  • Has anyone seen a movie called Grey Eagle? I ordered it and hope it is good.

  • Writer9727 I am white and I am for the Natives. You are exact on the US Gov. leaving you be.

They don't even know how to leave there own be. Peace be with you.

  • Never been in America, but for all the stories I've read and watched I am shocked and I think all the world is with you NATIVE AMRICANS!!! You know what, at least why they dont give you back those BLACK HILLS. What the fuck its going to change to them, they already have a huge country?

  • It just comes down to one thing. We must unite together and send one clear message. We are one people and this is our land. Leave us be.

  • @Writer9727 I agree with you totally. The US governments divide and conquer has gone on long enough for our people

  • long live the lakota

  • The truth is always the hardest to take but you proved the history was wrong for both leaders were great

  • In our culture today, history is clear. We pick from it what we like and deny the hard truth of it. The white man... or the Elite have bled the earth since the beginning of time. It has been done before they arrived here and is being done still to this day. Now the white man... Governments have the ability to span the globe and rape the earth of its resources... and kill. We have the ability to produce abundance... yet people are starving and wanting.

  • When you hate, you lend energy to not moving forward in this life. This is not what Creator has in mind for His people. For healing to begin, we must learn to forgive, never forget, but allow forgiveness to prevail and move onward to our new destiny.

  • Let us speak boldly as men do.

  • Wonderful words and pride forever swells. Thanks so much for posting. May all who view these presents be comforted with the learning. Continue to teach all generations. ~Peace, Harmony & Love

  • When I see this film.it makes me smile from ear to ear and happy to be a native woman. These were real men. I was raised by such men and I would not trade them for the world. I have pictures of these founding fathers up in my office to look at and be proud! Aho!

  • Many snows have passed. YHVH sees.

  • kinda sound like the same solution that should have been done for the cobell case. i have not put the white mans pen to his black or red paper and I too shall not touch pen to paper again for the rest of my days. -mah ke tay gah bow ish kung -or- Chief Blackfeathers//MCT/LLBO Ojibwe

  • I remember this movie. It is a great movie indeed. I wish there were more movies about the natives.

  • my prayer is that we would get leaders like sitting bull and red cloud in the government if that could happen this country would be a great place to live in again

  • People don't talk like that anymore,America where proud men once spoke the truth , life, love the land like were their own body like the other piece of the hearth,am proud to be amarican

  • manifest destiny, thats what they called it, Murder and torture, thats what I call it. Oglala Proud...........

  • We whites are, in my opinion, one of the worst races on earth. We make rules to live by; yet we break them continuously. We want peace and harmony in this world; yet we force people from their lands and claim it as if it has always been ours.

First rule of God: thou shall not kill each other. Yet we have killed so many people 'in the name of God'. I'm proud of being a white man, but when I look at our history, I'm sad and disappointed

  • I am Cherokee and Choctaw. And ever since I was little have been extremely proud to be Native American. To this day, I hate white men. My parents say its wrong because the white men today didnt kill our people. But in reality they continue to do that, and the white men still discriminate our people. I plan to represent my Indian ancestors to the best of my ability and ensure our culture, native toungue, and ways of life will never be lost. I love you my Native American ancestors dearly!

  • @OrientalCouches It is true our people still have very little voice in this land. I hope my videos help educate even the white man and help teach our people what Sitting Bull once said "AS INDIVIDUAL FINGERS WE CAN EASILY BE BROKEN, BUT TOGETHER WE MAKE A MIGHTY FIST"

  • @lonewolf13scott Very true! I wish the white men never came and took our land...

  • @OrientalCouches I agree with you. I am very proud to be native but as i got older i lost touch with my native culture, i lost touch with my native tongue, but now i found myself and who i am. I am a representive of the thousand native americans who fought for their culture, language and the future generations to live as natives. naweha

  • @xgdupx86 hope you never ever give up guys

  • @OrientalCouc, you hate whites? Yeah my dad killed a bunch of Natives but it was war. It was not like he had a choice. Ironically he married someone of native blood and then I am born. He raised me right and i am thankful for that and ironically enough I am a socialist FMLN follower which was the political party my father was fighting against. Racism is stupid and THIS story isn't even the weirdest. I had a friend whose grandfather was a NAZI and ended up marrying a black lady.

  • @OrientalCouches, the point of he story.. racism is stupid!

  • @OrientalCouches If you hold on to hatred then your no better than those who killed your ancestors.

  • didnt know bury my heart at wounded knee had a movie....i read the :1st tears came of my eyes....:much respect to all the tribes still out there im from el salvador

  • the whiteman took our land from my ancestors my grandfather always talks about our leader sitting bull he inspires me i wish i could have met our great sioux leader fo ewas very brave

  • The facts are self evident . Just look at the land around you and tell me after the while man settled that the earth has not changed for the worse? The earth is dying more each day as we have not replenished but destroyed it. We have lost thousands of indigenous plants, animals, people. The earth is dying. The white man destroyed Europe and moved and continues to destroy life.

  • I have no say in what happens or happened in the past to the natives of this country but I weep every time I hear the stories of how they were cheated and run off their land. I weep that it may have been some of my people that were the criminals victimizing and raping the land I now stand upon. I weep because I can do nothing more. So I weep.

  • It's all boils down to GREED!!!!!!

  • continuing my post :

Wounded knee is defenitly the low point in american history. Anyone that says different should examine their consciousness. Pearl Harbour and 9/11 have been very low points as well but they were not caused by americans! Wounded Knee is something we are responsible for all by ourselves!

It is time we start to respect native americans for who they are and we could learn a lot from them.

  • continuing my post from below:

I am ashamed of what we have done in the past and I have to admit that it is not always easy for me to accept the fact that I am farming land that once belonged to someone else and was taken from them forcably. I know that most land once belonged to someone that lost it because of war, but that does not make me feel much more comfortable.

  • I am not a native. But I do have to say that we europeans (north americans) have treated the natives terribly and it is time we correct this. The US goverment goes to Irak and attacks sadam because of among other things human rights abuses (using gas or biological weapons on their population). The one unfortunate thing is that the US goverment was no different from Sadam in the past. Just think about the Cholera blankets that were planted in a population that has never seen Cholera before.

  • @Farmerboy9445 i am part lakhota and you hit the nail on the head with that comment!

  • i feel for the indian tribes i think most whites now recognise their spiritual knowledge and their reason towards living in balace with nature thing tat didt made any sense for europeans because of the same preoblem we have today, too many people, bad land, no animals or hunt, poverty.... i really hope the indians will have their land back and their right place in american society, hope they will connected with their brothers in all america specially in brazil cause they need them most

  • ther reason why native americans were never inslaved was because they were untanable the blaks were stronger phisicly but were less wild in spirit, and werent on their land far away from africa they were lost... what happen in brazil was a crime not so much for taking land but for deceases, indian slavery was not allowed, nor chinese, portugal abolished slavery before the uk in 1765... slavery was an illegal factor in brazil

  • I have watched this movie many times and the strength of the words spoken in this scene have not gotten any weaker but have only gained strength. My heart still pains when I think of what the US Govt. has done to all the Native Americans. I have Native American blood in my veins and will be forever proud to stand side by side with all my relations.

  • @coolmerc3 Your words carry much wisdom and power. Keep in mind through the 1900's as well as even today the 1st Nations people still suffer at the hands of the american government. All Native people both pure bloods and mixed if they carry the Red Road Spirit in their heart as you seem to must stand together and not fight amongst ourselves. The US government loves to use DIVIDE and CONQUER against us.

  • @lonewolf13scott The govt doesn't care about the people...it doesn't matter where we came from. My descendants came from Poland and I'm white. I would get no preference in a concentration camp because it is the true free spirit they wish to control. The same families who have been controlling the world then still control it now. They would kill billions of people of all nationalities to keep control of what they have. The worlds people have all been slaves to them and kicked along.

  • so beautifull spoken.

  • Sitting Bull and Red Cloud say what needs to be said eloquently without going red or spluttering like fools.

  • as the natives had only 10% of the men fight battle with the whites,

today the whites do not even fight as other races that move in the land,

so it is what goes around comes around. Next race is already here and will be the rulers of what ever the nation is called in 100 years.

  • I'm a Portuguese. All my live I've lived here but I know well the story of the native American people! And I've tears in my eyes hitch time I watch this movie! Those wore great men. Great warriors. If they wore put together in time maybe they wore survived!?

    best regards from Portugal.

    Nuno Ramos.

  • @NunoRamos100 Never forget that Portugal did the same in Brazil. Pedro Alvarez Cabral invaded Brazil ( He did not discovered since the brazilian indians were already there) and them Portugal took their land, what is called today BRAZIL.

  • Rest in Peace, Sitting Bull.

  • It is good to see that Native American people are now portrayed by Native American People. They used to use Italians & refused parts to True Natives that came to auditions because they did not see them as glamorous enough to portray their parts. A stereo type. It is my sincere hope that we will be liberated from our ignorance by song birds like You, Lonewolf. So we might "give away"what was taken unjustly & mend the rift.Thank you for the gift of your Wisdom this day. Mi Takuye Oyasin-Aho

  • sad very sad i wach that movie i cry sitting bull i hope you are at rest and doing thinks that the white had taken from you free free at las

  • I freaking love these people!

  • I wish I was at that council! I freaking love these peopp

  • Good grief, what did we do to these people?

  • Wow. Surprisingly moving.

  • if you read both my comments, you would have seen that I support you, and did not accuse you, rather the govt that was. your comment was taken as an attack against me. please re-read my comments and see if I was the enemy

  • @cpomario sorry about that if you miss understood my comment it was to be meant as this

maybe WE SHOULD put a concrete plaque to remember the 7th as cowards and we should remember every one of them and post a plaque of the dishonoured 7th.

this comment was made in a general term.and not against you

  • i use to dance at the site where sitting bull lived in canada, and i was a helper for a yuwipi man from that same sun dance and now just a few days i heard that the whites want to drill for oil at (bear bute) our sacred hill for fasting.if this is so we must all pull together like red cloud, sitting bull, crazy horse etc to stop this from happing

    toksha

    whamdi-num koda yah pi

  • @7thunderstone I do not understand the world anymore. There are many other places to drill for oil. Obama won't let any deep well drilling in the gulf. But they want to drill on sacred land. We need oil but not at the expense of our sacred ground. If I found oil in a Catholic cemetery would the white man let me drill?

  • @lonewolf13scott Very well said. Guess if we're not them then we're just inferior and what we want and cherish doesn't matter.

  • @lonewolf13scott Maybe you people forget the fact that Obama is nothing else but "Old house negro" as Malcolm X called it once and if you like to know what exactly I try to say then click on my channel it should be there somewhere . Aye it's always the same like Indian situation or Final solution or UN resolution about Palestine, Iraq or Yugoslavia and now Libya and then they all shout about democracy and we are christian and we are people even though they behave like right fekin arseholes.

  • @lonewolf13scott they don't care about anybody,it's a game for the ruling class

  • @7thunderstone further more if you ever visit wounded knee remember this!

they THREW the bodies in that mass grave like yesterdays garbage.that famous photo of them standing around as the bodies lye there, take a closer look ! they are posing like they just shot a trophy elk. take a close look at all those pics,,,they ARE POSING LIKE WE ARE THERE TROPHIES

  • @7thunderstone maybe we should put a new concrete plaque at the wounded knee site. for the dishonoured solders of the 7th cavalry and put every name on it.

  • @7thunderstone people listen to him say" you would have us cut off our balls and end our race here and now...dam that is so true for even today that is still felt..people please go to a rez any where you live in USA&CANADA and please give what you can blankets food warm clothes our people are living in the poorest conditions WE ARE THE FORGOTTON PEOPLE.please help

  • @7thunderstone many of the tribal chiefs dont give a dam about there people as long as they get the money that is why they where suits and the rest of our people live in shacks...and starve and freeze people if you dont believe me go to pine ridge, standing rock,etc...go see for your self how well off the people are,,,you wont see any thing like hummers around

if your a sundancer and yopu read this please help the people...

  • @7thunderstone

dont give money to the tribal chiefs...go to the people ask for where any elder may live, tell the people there that you bring clothes, blankets food...our people are a simple people things like tea, coffee sugar, flour, baking powder,bacon,eggs...warm blankets, socks, mitts, electric heaters..are needed. i once heard a saying,

mother tressa was asked why do you help these people? she replied: why is it you do not?

  • @7thunderstone

i think Gordon Tatoosis(red cloud) should have played Sitting Bull (TATANKA UHA-TANKA) ! he looks more like Sittingbull.

  • @7thunderstone

hey every one look up> wounded heart< on utube

this movie above is about the past now look what is happening now on this very same reservation today in WOUNDED HEART.

  • @7thunderstone the clip is appropriate, yet I would have used actual Lakota language for Sitting Bull's and Red Cloud's speech with English subtitles. It would have given that much more of authenticity

  • @7thunderstone im not native, i am white, and i will tell you that not all white people want oil/gas to be drilled ANYWHERE, nor do we want nuclear power of which there isnt any place the spent fuel is safe! I wonder sometimes when I hear natives talking about white people this and white people that, know that its not all white people that are like that. Its the queen of england that is still making decisions, and the pope. They dont care about the general public (white or non)or the earth

  • @wheelori814 now that is a very correct statement

  • @7thunderstone Have they done this yet? has something been done to stop this??? This MUST NOT HAPPEN.

  • Comment removed

  • our race is and never will be defeated untill the last womans heart hits the ground. your white race has raped, killed slaughtered stolen our kids, yet we are still here.our hearts have never serendered

  • if you add up all that people who died since this world was created and it would not add up to the amount of our people who died in the name of the white man and there gods.tell me and our people 'WHY DO YOU HATE US?"what have we done to you?

  • @lonewolf13scott aho eho wahsta cola,my name is wamdi-num koda yahpi i see a few comments abut these great men of our past. geronimo said why did there have to be so many any why did they want all the land.there is no part in this world that they have not destroyed through out history..under the name of there gods.i tell you we are the most hated nation in this world today

  • @chulah12 Worse yet, they're trying to force everyone to speak Spanish now too. What they really need to do is force everyone here on our land, to learn our languages/dialects according to where people are by region. It would drive them all insane. The only problem is, we'd also have to learn our own language and the language of our fellow skins. The main problem with that is that we can't learn our own language unless we want to pay out the nose for "classes". BS and propganda - all it is.

  • I have watched this movie. What a terrible crime the US govt. committed, slaughtering all those Nations in this country so they could have it for themselves.

  • with all respect to the graet chiefs oyate lakota

  • @chulah12

    dear Chulah12

y husband who past away was mohawk I learn from him the story of wounded knee and over here also after that I also learn about the story of every where the white men pass same story I cried and fell very bad my heart is not the same then my blood it seems... I decided to look at the positive side of life

  • @chulah12 thank you

  • I was adopted into the Lakota Nation by a woman who is a direct descendant of Chief Red Cloud. It is a great honor to be related to these Great Chiefs. I am ashamed to be white when I think of what this Government did to the Indigenous people of this land. Since I became a member of the Lakota Nation, I do what I can to educate anyone that I meet or know about these people and their plight and how they are still being treated. I pray for them! Mitakuye Oyasin, Wanbli Gleska! Aho!

  • @HelpingRedRoad It's great that you want to help out... but I hope you are learning everything possible, the truth, about us before you go running around telling people things. I have met so many people who were "adopted" who suddenly thought themselves authorities to run around and misinform people about us. Just asking you be sure before you give information. Thank you and welcome to the Lakota Nation. Mitakuye Oyasin.

  • @KanghiWinyan Well I lived with my Grandmother for a year on the Reservation, I was a fire keeper for my Medicine man while I lived with him for a while. Most people still have an idea about Native Americans still living in Tee Pees. I may not be complete authority but I have learned very much living with the Lakota people. I can assure you anything I have to say is in praise of the Lakota and that they are still proudly living on their birth right. I have much respect.

  • What was once is no more... Ignorance of our people is what we live with daily. I wish more o our own would stand up and take a stance, and not accept what has been given to us "for our own good."

  • @FUwogs I would love to see you go to TJ and walk up and down the red light district and yell, "I hate beaners". I wonder what would happen...

  • @FUwogs If we take away all you parents and grandparents, and we take away you christmas and your easter, and we take away your traditions and all your history, and then we call you and yours savages, only then can you speak to me, when you have seen what that can do to a human, then you can speak.

  • I'am 75% Sweden and 25% Native American Choctaw and Cherokee.

Even though I'am part Native American I'am still ashamed of what my white ancestors did.

  • weren't SittingBull and RedCloud both Oglala Sioux? If so, then how were they both Chiefs if they were from the same band

  • Comment removed

  • @kid1111111 A chief is a chief. It becomes a chief because people trust him and follow him. At some time, people would follow the advice of Red Cloud and at other they would listen to Sitting Bull. You have to think different to understand. Imagine that you obey your president or your boss, not because they hold a title, but because what they say and what they do speak to your heart and strenghten you.

  • @tulugak1 Good and wise truths in your words to this young person. Its sad that people now days seem to be able to follow its leaders blindly. If people would do today like the old ways then many of these false leaders would be long gone

  • Comment removed

  • why did the story had to be this way ? I Imagine a white man to arrive in this new land with respect for the native .The whole history would have been different.we would'nt be where we are now in a polluted land but no!!! we were "civilised "

    and the story continue.too bad!!!

but there is hope for a change ..

thank you for this piece of movie

  • @1emanres It is not a sin to relive history. Hate is in our people's past and always will be. War has been apart of the world forever. People fight, people kill and people forgive. This video is made by the nicest man and brother I know, he will be until the end of time. If you have a problem- take YOUR anger out on me. you have no education in this department of history. Surley you are on the white mans side. I know- it makes sence. You still call us Indians, the world has mistaught you.

  • Fuck You cgp162 Native Pride Forever. United We Stand since 1492 We Shall Remain. Bring Pain To The Powers That Be Native Power. Follow no white man to his promise land. We shall remain forever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Rebel Warrior 2010 Tribal Warfare Society: United We Stand Since 1492

  • Was Sitting Bull a freemason?

  • it is an embarrassment, that america bred the first terrorists. this sat in my stomach for my entire military carreer. What was done to the Am. Indians was, and is a disgrace.

  • @cpomario Thank you for those wise words my friend. There are those today even that still believe that they were just protecting themselves from Indian attacks. Of course not only did America breed the first terrorists it also bred the first propaganda specialists. The history books are filled with the lies of an ashamed government.

  • @lonewolf13scott

The first terrorists were not American, and were not born in the 1700 and 1800s...

  • @Robertz1986 They did not go by that name I admit. But the terror they caused and they damage they did is endless. I am a very proud American and Native American. My father fought in WW2. It does not change the fact this country was built on blood and terror. The same things Europeans left their homes to escape they brought with them.

  • @cpomario

hello i want to in lighten you on some thing for all of you out there WE ARE NOT TERRIORESTS and never have been. many of them killed us out of sport it seems..they threw the babys in the air and shot them there so we fought back and then they call us terriorewsts for defending our people...Custer was a terriorest !!!!

  • many views...... but whatever view you choose is your choice...... bad or good..... id rather choose the deserving view......

  • This was one of the greatest scenes in this film. Thanks for posting it. Very moving and the movie was really quite accurate. It is ridiculous how few people know of events like this between the Natives and 'the whites' (for lack of a better term.)

  • well said red cloud! im mexican, mixtec culture of southern mexico! and my natives when thru the same shit with the spaniards.. we are indeed brown with honor..

  • a stunning example of how to be a hero

  • Two courages men together at last, vnvhe Osceola.

  • This speaks for ALL the Original Peoples throughout the world that have been harmed by their genocide, fraud & greed - Thank you - Peace xoox

  • Tell those fuckers, Red Cloud.

  • mvdo

  • Thank U for this video

the video speaks for it self

    nothing more to be said

just stand up for your rights

  • I nearly cried watching this.

  • The video truly says all and speaks for its self, thanks for putting this up

  • This is inspiring as to our fathers of the old land have done what any nation would. And yet they are still not respected for who they are. No man should have a right to decide where, wehn or who should live free on their own land.

  • I agree, the video speaks for itself. What could possibly be added to this that needs hearing? :):)

  • divide and conquer??

  • what to say,the video said it all.

  • Thank You

  • I find it hard to believe that with nearly 50 views no one has taken the time to comment

  • This is to show you that the video speaks for itself. :)

  • Very good point
